The Spring 2025 fashion season has begun to drop, and with it comes the last from celebrated and now departed Bottega Veneta Creative Director Matthieu Blazy. During his appointment at the Italian House, Blazy took fans on a creative journey around the world, exploring the incredible heritage at the heart of Bottega Veneta.

His journey culminates with Spring 2025, and launching within the collection comes the latest bag from Bottega Veneta—the Ciao Ciao bag. Debuting on the runway, the Ciao Ciao is an iconic representation of Italian luxury craft.

A New Heritage Icon Debuts

Joining the Andiamo family, the bag arrives in smooth leather. Rooted in heritage, the smooth leather series explores Bottega Veneta’s rich history and brand DNA before the introduction of its woven Intrecciato leather.

The Ciao Ciao bag takes its name from the Italian greeting for both “Hello” and “Goodbye.” Given the name to reflect the bag’s ease of use, it features the same signature design elements of the Andiamo. Still, the Ciao Ciao stands out with a distinct functional appeal while conveying the brand’s commitment to craft.

The Ciao Ciao bag is available in two sizes—classic, which retails for $5,900, and large, which retails for $8,900 via Bottega Veneta.

Love the bag, but it’s too pricey for “Plain” bag compared with the usual Intrecciato bags.
