Chanel’s runway shows are truly in a league of their own, but when it comes to haute couture, it’s a whole other ballgame. Haute couture showcases exclusive, unique, handmade garments that are custom-fitted for individual customers—and its shows attract the best of the best editors, celebrities, and VICs.
While bags occasionally appear on the runway during a couture show, when it comes to bag news, it’s outside the shows where the front-page-worthy sightings happen. The vast majority of bags you’ll see arrive during the show’s arrivals, and this year was no different!
While Chanel’s very loyal fanbase never disappoints, this year’s bags were even better than ever, with limited-edition bags, the classics, and, as expected, plenty of Matthieu Blazy’s Chanel! Blazy’s ponyhair print from Métiers d’Art, seen on clutches, classic bags, and more, was a favorite this season, and we’re once again reminded of how well the House of Chanel has cemented its modern relevance in the ever-changing world of luxury.

Outfits all over the place, lol.
So many well dressed women 💞especially the woman is the green skirt
Those two women in that skirt were outer limits. Loved they both did black turtles with it but they both owned the day.
Two women in the same skirt.
The lady with Apple Minadiere, LOVE THAT SKIRT. love the way it flows
Gosh, I love everything about Blazy’s Chanel.
The giraffe bag is kind of cute, but I would never buy it since it’s more of a novelty.
Agree!! Now if someone was looking to give me a gift…
Great outfits, and I’m happy to see the reissue getting some love… so much more subtle than the ubiquitous cc.
Not all of these bags are from Blazy’s collections. The bi-colour Boy, for example, is from 2011 or 2012.
As mentioned in the text, GrammarPolice, there were plenty of classics to be seen alongside Blazy’s new releases, but there was an overwhelming number of his new bags to gush over!
Loving those burgundy gloves
Chanel’s burgundy tones in the last few collections have been so stunning!
love it all. The gold python look clutch with the red is stunning
This whole vibe is really Chanel x d&g
Mmm. I thought that green leopard print skirt was a homemade jobby, made up from a bunch of identical pareos, until I scrolled and saw the second one…LOL!
