Another summer week has come and is almost gone, and we’re kicking off the weekend early to bring you a brand-new set of Bags in the Wild, fresh from the city! We spent an afternoon strolling through the city’s most fashionable downtown neighborhoods to bring you the very best bags from a very hot August day.
The Lower East Side, Nolita, and SoHo bring a completely different vibe from an uptown jaunt, and while the occasional Birkin will find its way into the mix, the variety in vintage, indie, and trend-driven bags is what keeps us coming back for more downtown street-style bags.
This week’s set of bags features some Prada, a bit of classic Celine, plenty of vintage, and more! As August winds down, the temps continue to soar, and we weren’t surprised to see the bags paired with breezy bottoms and mini shorts. The Prada Wish bag makes me laugh when I see it. It is a dust bag with a better logo plate. People are paying good money for this! Each to their own I guess.
