Trotter, who presented her sophomore collection for Bottega Veneta yesterday in Milan, continues to prove her power while cementing her vision for the storied Italian House—and it is a beautiful one.

The Bags of Bottega Veneta Fall 2026

The bags, overall, were beautiful but mostly simple, which was a nice complement to the ready-to-wear. Trotter continued her study of Intrecciato, which acted as an accent on some bags while most were fully woven. Big bags continued to reign, though smaller shapes like the lady bags we saw last season and top-handle bowlers offered a nice mix.

The idea of the statement clutch also made an appearance this season—some were exotic, while others were intrecciato.
