Matthieu Blazy’s Chanel Vision Continues to Take Shape
This collection, designed as a precursor to the larger Fall runway collection, continues to focus on Blazy’s vision of the modern Chanel woman, re-envisioning the essential wardrobe, ready-to-wear features: tailored staples, statement knits, everyday icons like denim, and elevated eveningwear.
As for the bags, favorites from Blazy’s debut collection are back, like the Maxi Flap in leather and suede, dressed in new hues like chartreuse, gray, and more, plus the return of Blazy’s Bowling Bag. The collection is further elevated by an array of new shopping bags and stunning new Flap Bags, from colorful patchworked suede designs to the micro-quilted 11.12 and more.

Most of these bags look like styles that are currently being done by other brands. Unless you just want a Chanel bag, I would pass.
A few of these are nice, most I don’t care for, but the prices have gotten so outrageous. Read recently LV and Chanel have raised prices 60% in the last several years. Doubt it’s a coincidence that the luxury handbag market was down 8% last year. But it’s free to look.!
The brown lambskin flap with the wavy stitching is SO STUNNING.

Although the prices are OUTRAGEOUS and I am officially priced out, I adore almost every single one of these new bags……he hit it out of the ballpark IMO!!!
The Chanel classic flap 11.12 is just beautiful. Love the update with the small quilting pattern. But REALLY Chanel, at that price, you should at least start plating the turn lock with real gold again.
I’m holding out for silver hardware. It seems shortsighted that every single bag has gold hardware.
I agree on the 70’s vibe of the brown flap bag with the «chevron-like» stitching. That one I like a lot! The rest is kind of mah
Oh, the Chanel clutch with leather straps is pretty great. I would need to get a look at it IRL but first look I want this bag!
I love that one too! It’s like part pouch, part flap bag.
Only like the cheapest one — the clutch. Too many of the others look like retreads from 1970s suede boho bags that were zig-zag stitched and pieced together. Nah, at these prices, I want better than this.
I like the suede patchwork, and the green, but none of these feel truly special.
