One of 2022’s most-wanted bags, the Prada Cleo, is not going anywhere anytime soon. The slim shoulder bag reappeared on the runway for Fall 2024, proving that there’s staying power in the Cleo. Now, it’s back in one of the shape’s most eye-catching hues: shiny silver.
The Cleo first debuted for Spring 2021, playing on a popular archival Prada shape from the 1990s. The timing of the Cleo’s release was noteworthy, marking a time of transition for the Italian House—celebrating the brand’s heritage while simultaneously looking forward to the future.
The sleek lines and streamlined design of the Cleo are the epitome of chic. Its curves hug close to the body, and though its interior is tiny, it is mighty, packing a punch in style. There’s a reason why the shape was quickly picked up by those in the know—think influencers, editors, and yes, yours truly.
Metallics Are the New Neutrals
The Cleo itself is sneakily versatile. While at first glance, its shiny Spazzolato leather looks luxe and dressy, the Cleo works well no matter how it’s styled. Because the shape is fairly simple, it can look chic when dressed up for a night out or effortlessly cool when dressed down with sneakers for a daytime look.

We love a bag that can do both, and it’s that variability and versatility that silver offers. It can provide a fun pop to your outfit, yet at the same time, it can act as a neutral. I may be a silver stan, but I promise it’s more wearable than you might think!
Rocking a chic all-white look this summer? You can bet a pop of silver is the perfect finishing touch. What about head-to-toe color? Your silver bag will pair perfectly, too. Not to mention, you’re not tied down to any particular season; you can truly wear it all year round (cost per wear, baby!)
When Prada first debuted the Cleo, silver was one of the color options, and it quickly sold out. It even became difficult to track down on the resale market. Now it’s back on Prada.com just in time for the fall season. Run, don’t walk!
I truly dislike this bag BUT it does look pretty good in silver. That color fits the retro vibe really well.
Hasn’t it already been out in shiny silver?? The pale blue one with the purple Bottegas…. V CUTE.
I started liking this bag the more I saw it and the silver is probably the best color they offer!
I can’t see anything attractive in this bag. Looks like something cheap from a street market.

What a strange, bullying comment. Why would she set herself up for ridicule? Her experience is valid because bags, like these, can be seen in cheap street markets.
