The Many Bags of Gigi Hadid, Part II

As Gigi enters her married (??) era, we’re revisiting the bags that have defined her style.

While it remains unclear if congratulations are in order for Gigi Hadid, 31, and Bradley Cooper, 51, who recently stepped out with matching rings on their left hands, what remains clear is Gigi’s commitment to a great handbag.

It’s been a decade since we last took a look at Gigi’s handbag collection, and as Gigi steps into her married (??) era, we thought there was no time like the present to unpack the bags she’s been spotted carrying over the last few years.

Though Gigi isn’t as much of a rare-vintage handbag fan as her sister Bella, there are two things you’ll notice about her collection. First, she’s a Prada and Miu Miu muse, often opting for Mrs. Prada’s bags and wearing them again and again and again.

For the sake of this post, I only included one outfit with each bag, but after poring over our photo service archive, it’s clear that Gigi wears her bags again and again. The second thing you’ll notice is that when she loves a bag, owning it in multiple colors is a definite yes. Let’s take a look!

Miuccia’s Muse

Gigi Hadid, a supermodel and mom to five-year-old Khai, is one of the world’s highest-paid models, and she’s walked in too many of Miuccia Prada’s shows to count. Hadid has also fronted campaigns for both Prada and Miu Miu. Most recently, she was the face of Miu Miu’s iconic leather-goods campaign.

That said, it’s no surprise that Hadid is a huge fan of both Prada and Miu Miu, wearing matelassé both on and off duty. Whether dressed up or dressed down, chances are you’ll spot one of Mrs. Prada’s best bags not far behind.

When she’s not favoring Prada or Miu Miu, Gigi often keeps things on the quieter side, opting for brands like The Row and Loro Piana. In fact, Hadid has been spotted carrying the beloved Loro Piana L19 Mini in several different colors. That’s dedication!

One thing that remains true about Gigi Hadid’s collection is its variation. She doesn’t stick to just neutrals—though she does love them—and isn’t shy about a fun print (I’m still fixated on the tie-dye Prada). For our sake, we really hope these marriage rumors aren’t true—or, if they are, we hope a wedding celebration is to come—because the looks (and the bags) are sure to be worth mentioning!
