Are you kidding me. You are not reporting on the utter disaster this launch was. LV is turning into Hermes which is fine if you willingly sign up for that circus but not if you’re not willing to spend tens of thousands just to get another item worth a few thousand. And I do use that term “worth” loosely. LV should be very wary of alienating customers with the way they handled this launch.
The launch was especially orchestrated to create anticipation and buzz. It was really effective and clients who were first offered the items felt recognized for their high spending levels. It’s been overall a great success and another step toward the upmarket strategy that Louis Vuitton has been pursuing for two decades. I am sorry you felt alienated, but the sense of frustration and scarcity is exactly how these brands amp demand.
Vics couldn’t even get there orders through I spent 150k last year just to be able to buy the malle courrier 110 and one of each and the only thing that wasn’t deemed unfulfilled was the trunk. So no I didn’t feel recognized. With Hermes’ if your prestige enough they will source you a bag the game is only for the poor. Louis Vuitton doesn’t know what there clientele is because they’ve switched from luggage to leather and clothes unlike goyard who knows there identity and clientele.

If that’s true then why are there hundreds of these re-listed on eBay and other marketplaces for twice the resale price? I agree with Veronica; LV is alienating its largest client base. This release was heartbreaking on so many levels. Also, the colorway is identical on each piece. Part,of what made the original line so fun was that they weren’t all identical.

No. I got a carrryall pm and an Victorine wallet and I was not VIC OR VVIC. I think the collection is sold out though.
Don’t know the situation in USA or other foreign countries but there are so many people are trying to sell those latest LV x TM pieces at resale platforms as well as online in Japan 🇯🇵 However 😂 seems like no one buying in Japan. So if anyone miss out the chance to buy any pieces from this collection then come to Japan 🇯🇵 😂
