If there’s one topic that has ruled the fashion lexicon this spring and summer, it’s the newness coming out of brands like Chanel, Balenciaga, and, of course, Dior, as the designer debuts of Spring 2026 began to hit boutiques.
While the fashion world’s collective response to a new creative director’s debut is, of course, something to note, at the end of the day, a brand’s new product has to resonate with consumers, not just be celebrated by the who’s who of fashion or praised by fashion critics.
Jonathan Anderson’s Dior, which finally arrived in stores earlier this year, continues to be a favorite here at PurseBlog and among tPFers as well. The anticipation and joy this season has brought to the industry are something we haven’t seen in recent years, and it truly feels like we’re witnessing fashion history.
