Louis Vuitton Expands On Its Monogram Empreinte Line for Fall 2020

Introducing Bicolor Monogram Empreinte

Earlier this year, Louis Vuitton released a brand new version of its classic Monogram Empreinte and fans who loved LV’s Monogram Giant Print took notice. For the first time ever, Monogram Empreinte was being offered in Louis Vuitton’s new Monogram Giant motif. The newest addition to both the Monogram Empreinte collection and the Monogram Giant family was a hit among LV fans, catering to a subset of handbag lovers that prefer a more paired down version of the brand’s blown up Monogram print. The all-leather monochrome version was a bit less “obviously Louis Vuitton” and it worked, selling out quickly and becoming a beloved new favorite for the brand. Now, the brand has reinvented the Giant Monogram Empreinte, introducing a new line that is perfect for those who love both LV branding as well as all leather bags. Introducing: the Bicolor Monogram Empreinte Collection.

The Bicolor Monogram Empreinte Collection is brand new this season, further expanding on LV’s Giant Monogram. For fall 2020, Louis Vuitton once again enlarges the iconic, embossed Monogram Empreinte in a new, two-toned leather motif. Both more eye-catching and captivating than the traditional Monogram, but relatively scaled-back next to the brand’s classic Monogram Giant, the new collection creates a contrasting effect by combining color printing and embossing.

The Bicolor Monogram Empreinte bags are crafted from embossed grained cowhide leather with a microfiber lining and gold-tone hardware. Currently there are two colorways being offered, everyday basic black and turtledove, which is a grey-ish beige tone, and both are accented with a cream-colored Monogram motif. Fan favorite silhouettes like the NéoNoé, Montaigne, Onthego and Félice Pochette are featured in this collection with prices ranging from $1,530 for the Pochette to $3,500 for an Onthego MM.
