I remember the Cartier Love bracelet making it onto my vision board more than a decade ago, and then that vision becoming a reality for my birthday the next year, as a gift from Vlad. One thought that popped into my head after getting my first Love Bracelet was that I wanted one with stones of different colors, not just diamonds. A stone that signified one of my kids’ birthstones could be an easier justification, or just an entire rainbow of gems, because it would make me happy. I wasn’t alone.
While the Love bracelet mostly stays true to its original design, various updates have occurred, the most recent being the Love Unlimited line, which gave the typically structured icon a more malleable shape. Fans have been begging Cartier to bring back its Rainbow line, which was first introduced in 2009 with different colored gemstones and later expanded into a full rainbow line. The collection quietly stopped being produced, but fans didn’t stop wanting it, and now it’s back.
Officially launched this June, the new Love Color Capsule from Cartier has introduced a vibrant expansion of one of its beloved Love collections. While the capsule includes several entirely new gemstone interpretations, the pièce de résistance is undoubtedly the return of the coveted Rainbow Love bracelet.
The collection introduces six colorful new interpretations of the iconic bracelet, replacing the signature screw motifs with gemstones that transform one of jewelry’s most recognizable silhouettes into something entirely fresh.

Cartier’s Love Bracelet Gets Its Most Colorful Update Yet
According to Cartier, the Love Color Capsule is designed to “electrify” the iconic bracelet through color. Rather than altering the bracelet’s instantly recognizable oval silhouette, Cartier has focused on what has always defined the design: its signature screws.
The capsule comprises six new models in yellow, rose, and white gold, offering everything from subtle pops of color to fully pavé-set gemstone bracelets.

The Return of the Rainbow Love Bracelet
For longtime Cartier collectors, this isn’t an introduction; this is a return.
Often referred to by collectors as the Rainbow Love Bracelet, the design features an array of colored gemstones arranged around the bracelet, adding color and variety. After being discontinued several years ago, the bracelet has become increasingly difficult to find on the second-hand market, making it something of a modern collector’s favorite.
Its return immediately makes this one of Cartier’s most exciting Love releases in recent memory.

Six New Gemstone Interpretations
Among the highlights are warm-toned versions featuring pink sapphires, yellow sapphires, orange garnets, and amethysts, alongside cooler interpretations incorporating blue sapphires, aquamarines, purple spinels, and amethysts.
Perhaps even more notable, Cartier is introducing fully pavé-set Love bracelets set entirely with blue sapphires, pink sapphires, or garnets, marking the first time a different-color pavé version of the Love collection has been added.

How Much Does the New Cartier Love Bracelet Cost?
Maison Cartier confirmed on Instagram that the multi-gem Love Bracelets will retail for $20,500 USD before tax. With some versions going up to $21,900.00.
Pricing for the remaining Rainbow Love collection is as follows: The pink Sapphire and green Tsavorite models are $71,000.00, while the blue Sapphire is $76,000.00.
Like many of Cartier’s more exclusive launches, the collection will be available exclusively through Cartier boutiques, with online purchasing unavailable at launch.
While I have you, if the full Rainbow Love Bracelet is taunting you but you can’t track it down (and/or it costs too much), one of the original releases is being sold in excellent condition for only $10,250, which seems like a deal.
Is the Love Color Capsule Limited Edition?
Cartier has described the release as an annual capsule collection, though the Maison has not publicly disclosed production numbers for individual pieces.
Rumors circulating among luxury jewelry collectors suggest certain colorways may be limited to as few as 50 examples worldwide, though Cartier has not confirmed those reports.
Whether those numbers prove accurate or not, boutique-only availability and the return of the Rainbow Love bracelet are likely to make this one of the year’s most closely watched Cartier launches.
A Fresh Chapter for an Icon
Rather than redesigning an icon, Cartier has chosen to celebrate it through color, offering collectors something that feels simultaneously familiar and entirely new.
For those who missed the original Rainbow Love bracelet, or simply appreciate Cartier at its most playful, the Love Color Capsule may become one of the House’s most desirable releases of the year.
