So often, we talk about the bags we’re eyeing and buying, but it’s time we gave more love to the tried-and-true—the bags that already exist in our closets, the ones that get a lot of use and deserve some extra appreciation!
This spring, I’ve been wearing my bags on rotation, actively switching them out instead of haphazardly throwing my stuff into whatever bag is hanging on the bag hook in my apartment’s entryway.
This especially rings true when I’m styling an outfit for dinner or a night out, which is always an excuse to get creative and have fun with my outfit. Without further ado—here are the four bags that have been getting the most love this spring!
The Sneakily Versatile Day to Night Carry
What I wore: Prada Cleo in White
Where I went: Sushi at BONDST and cocktails at Jac’s On Bond with friends

By now, you’re probably sick of hearing about how much I love the Prada Cleo, but like I said above, the bags we love and use deserve just as much love as the ones continuously on our want list.
That said, it’s the one bag I’d still add to my closet in a second color because I use it enough to warrant another. I’ve still got my eye on the silver.
The Sleek Logo Bag
What I wore: Gucci Luce Shoulder Bag in Brown GG Monogram Canvas
Where I went: Dinner with at Cafe Zaffri with my parents

With the Y2K fashion boom came the return of the 2000s logo obsession, which helped me return to my logo-love era. I love what a logo stands for, and this year I’ve used my logo bags more than ever.
This season, I’ve returned to the Gucci Luce time and time again, pairing it with darker colors earlier in the season, and white and creams as the temperatures have gotten warmer.
The Chic Top Handle
What I wore: Savette The Symmetry Suede Pochette
Where I went: Dame for a belated birthday dinner with my best friend

Savette has been on my radar since it first launched in 2020, and I kept coming back to its Symmetry Pouch time and time again. I finally added one to my closet last fall, and it’s been a constant in my wardrobe ever since.
Offering the same chic appeal as the very out-of-my-budget Hermès Kelly Pochette, I use it way more than I would have expected.
The interior is also fairly roomy, with enough space for a phone, a small wallet, and more. It gets the most use for dinners out, but I’ve also caught myself grabbing it for a quick coffee run with a trench and a baseball cap!
The Evening Mini Bag
What I wore: Tom Ford Gucci Chain Mini Bag in Black GG Canvas
Where I went: Dinner and Drinks at The Twenty Two with my cousin visiting in town

This Tom Ford Gucci Mini Chain bag was a steal, and while it is tiny, it’s still one of my most-used chic little carries for a night out.
The bag’s slim body sits nicely under the arm—yes, the chain is long enough for comfortable shoulder wear—and for a night out, it fits the necessities: iPhone, a card case, and a lippy.
This was a fun feature! Nice variety- those are all bags that I don’t see regularly. And every time you write about the Cleo, I go right to Fashionphile to see if they have any in good shape for a good price. =). I’ve not added her to my collection, yet, but I feel like it’s only a matter of time.
Manifesting it for you! Best bag!!! 🙂
Is the gap between the flap and lock on the Savette Symmetry Pochette usually asymmetrical? I’ve seen some online and IRL that don’t look symmetrical.
I’ve honestly never noticed – but I see it in this photo! I think it’s the way I’m holding it here.
Cleo has such a clean look. Beautiful bag.
It is so chic and sleek, lightweight, and sits really nicely under the arm. It is truly one of my most-used bags!
I love this article! So fun to see how bags are loved and used in the real world. Except for the Prada I’m not
Familiar with the other bags. I will check
them out. I’m especially intrigued by the Gucci and Tom Ford. Thank you
