Red is considered to be one of the most lucky colors in the rainbow, symbolizing good fortune, happiness, and love in many different cultures. In Italian culture, wearing red underwear on New Year’s Eve is a widely known tradition to bring luck and love to the New Year. Of course, during Chinese New Year, the color red is everywhere, and that’s because the color is also synonymous with money, joy, and good luck in Asian culture.
Red just so happens to be one of the most versatile handbag colors. There’s a reason why, season after season, red remains a mainstay in designer line-ups. It easily acts as both a pop of color and a neutral, working well with most colors in your wardrobe. Plus, it can easily transition from day to night.
Some reds lean bolder and brighter, while others lean deeper and more jewel-toned. There’s really a red for everyone, and this year, designers have blessed up with an array of options that are sure to delight. The best part? Red truly never goes out of style, so if you’re in need of some extra luck this year (or just an excuse to buy a new bag), we’ve rounded up over a dozen of our favorite finds below!
Nice group! My fav is the LV Capucines, but would prefer the standard size/shape rather than an East West version.
I don’t own any LV bags, there’s always something else I find more compelling from another brand. But if I was after a red bag, that Capucine would be calling my name. It’s Devine.
Nothing better than my red Alma PM in epi leather!
Exactly! Going to take my red LV Noe Epi out of its dust bag!
So happy to know! I will be taking my LV Noe Epi in red out of its dust cover to rock, after the snow melts!
I like the look of red bags, but I slowly realized that it’s not my thing. I own two and pull out one for Christmas and one for Valentine’s Day. I own bags on a rainbow of colors (don’t like black bags), but I just can’t do red. The Hug is next on my list, but definitely not in red.
When I saw that Chloe in person, it reminded me of the Marc Jacobs multi pocket.
