Which Bag Did You Wear Most This Year?

With 2025 looming, let's look back at the bags we've loved this year

Prada Cleo Most Worn of 2024

We’re exactly two weeks away from Christmas, which means that in just three weeks, it will already be 2025. Now is the time to reflect on the year that we’re leaving behind. From the outfits we wore to the things we bought (or didn’t buy but wish we had) to the fun memories made and everything in between, what a year it’s been.

Today, we’re here to talk about those fashion moments and how this year of collecting has impacted your closet. What we wear (or don’t) can offer a lot of insights into what we should or shouldn’t buy in the coming year.

Prada Cleo Reigns Supreme

I’ve made it a priority to get better at shopping my own closet, which means that I rotate my bags more and more. My collection has diversified a bit more in terms of brands and shapes, and I don’t play favorites nearly as much as I used to. I keep a note on my phone of what I own and what I’ve sold, and after a quick once-over of my list, I’m proud to say that I used every bag in my closet at least once!

However, a couple of bags clearly got the most use, and one got the least, which offers me insight moving forward. While last year I used my Bottega Veneta Silver Cassette a lot, this year it got much less use, which I’m not all that surprised by. I’ve found that, in general, I’ve favored my shoulder bags over crossbody bags for some time now.

That said, once again, my most used bag was my Prada Cleo—by a landslide. I’ve worn it both super dressed up and super dressed down, and because it’s white, it goes with almost everything. This might be the year I have to get it in another color.

I also used my Loewe Puzzle Hobo more this year than I did the prior year. It might be discontinued, but it’s still one of my favorites. It’s so easy to just grab it and go!

I favored my Primo Atelier bespoke bag the most, along with Hermes Fourre Tout.

As for the bags that didn’t get much love: Hermes Garden Party and Celine Trapeze, etc found new homes. My LV Dhanura GM was purchased by a yoga instructor!

My polene numero neuf. It just works with everything and holds a lot. Second most used was my vuitton odeon pm. That’s when you don’t need to take much with you.

I have been wearing my LV Damier Ebene and Monogram Pochette’s NM and mini’s on LV straps-the Ebene and Monogram straps. I have many handbags, but these are easy to wear and I do not carry many items these days. I love my LV Neo Noe Monogram with black trim-but never use it.

Mine’s the Mulberry mini Alexa bag. It sits at the perfect height for me when wore crossbody and is light and roomy. A close second is the YSL sac de jour bag for the same reason.

My Burberry small Banner bag, Coach Rogue, and Coach Willow.

My Loewe Puzzle mini bumbag in tan, I love it. I understand you about the Loewe Puzzle hobo and I don’t believe why it is discontinued. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Just A Girl

My small Chanel 22 in grey with a gold chain diamond pattern got a workout this year. Light weight, spacious, and beautiful. It has become one of my favorite bags and that is saying something!

Sara

My Celine Ava – I’ve worn mine to death and it looks amazing! In the white canvas it has gone with everything.

Niki

Chanel 22 Medium in black caviar with gold hardware! Used it EVERY single day since I got it earlier this year.
