I’ve told this story so many times, but it’s integral to this entire site. A Prada Nylon Messenger bag started my love for designer handbags. I had a friend who returned from a trip to Paris in high school with what, to me, was the most perfect bag of bags.

For summer, Prada is offering this bag in new colorways. This is one of Prada’s strong suits – colors. You would think it is easy to create new colorways, but few brands are as well-versed in hitting just the right hue in the way Prada does.

There are so many options, from the quintessentially notable Prada celeste (a dreamy blue) to wisteria (a violet hue that makes my heart smile) to aquamarine (a Mediterranean sea-like green) and more.

The bag is pretty versatile. Sure, it is more compact, but I took it for a spin a few months ago and can report that it works for daily necessities.

The bag provides versatility with its detachable, adjustable leather handle and shoulder strap. The patch pocket on the interior holds some cash or a valet parking ticket, and the interior compartment (lined in Nappa leather) is open for your items. Dimensions are 18cm H x 22cm W x 6cm L.
