The Galleria, however, quickly became one of the most notable designs for the House and bag world. In its latest interaction, Prada elongated the shape and extended the handles to transform the Galleria into the shape of the moment. While the shape is more time-specific to a trend that we have seen take hold, the bag itself is still a classic.
Modern Day Galleria
With the stretched shape, the Galleria can now be easily carried on the shoulder and kept close to the body, for a more secure and easy carry.
Offering a very Prada finish, four different animal prints make this bag stand out as a much bolder take on the trend. Three offer different animal prints on printed Saffiano leather, while one offers calf hair with the animal print.
Each bag offers a detachable, adjustable shoulder strap with coordinating printed leather. Other features include a removable leather key ring, external zipper pockets, snap closures on the sides, and a Nappa leather interior with two pockets.
Full Leather Variations and Colors
If the animal print doesn’t suit your style, there are also stunning leather options. I am partial to the butter yellow variation, and since I don’t have a butter yellow bag, this one may or may not enter my handbag subconscious.
I also love the smooth and supple calfskin used for these bags. The full leather option starts at $4,500, while the animal print option is $5,700.

Let’s be honest here. These people are deeply insecure, jealous and unhappy. Calling people they don’t know words, such as “trash”, well it’s really just a reflection on how they feel about themselves. They have no qualms about saying nasty things because it makes them feel better about their lot in life. No grace, no manners, no kindness. Its sad. Banal.
