Miu Miu is having more of a moment…it’s having a movement. The brand’s incredible momentum continues, and when looking back at the fashion of the early 2020s, much of its trends can be traced back in part to Miu Miu. While Miuccia and her team continue to infuse Miu Miu with a youthful elegance that is so inherent to the brand’s DNA, this season, there is a focus on examining the art of dressing as well.
Today’s Miu Miu
Our world is ever-changing, and the beauty and fashion standards of the modern day are also. Miu Miu’s Spring 2024 collection is said to reflect that—focusing on the sentiment that “beauty must echo the complexity of our era.” Styles of the past are reinvigorated and reinvented, and individualism is explored.
Though the design team focused on the idea of pieces that are actually wearable, they are worn in a way that still makes them possess that young Miu Miu edge fans know so well (and love). Button-ups are styled layered with ruffled mini skirts or Miu Miu hotpants, while v-neck sweaters are layered underneath sequin frocks.
Miu Miu What’s In Her Bag
As for the bags, models toted an array of styles on the runway – from classic Miu Miu bowlers and top handles in neutral shades to bucket bags and more. Bags were shown overstuffed with items like high heels and other items seen peeking out. New House classics like the Arcadie and the Miu Wander were seen, as well as summery linen shapes complete with a Miu Miu logo.
