Louis Vuitton takes a step back in time for Cruise 2026—to the Middle Ages, to be exact. The collection, which was presented in May at one of Europe’s largest and most important medieval Gothic buildings, the Palais des Papes in southern France, is one of the most artful collections in recent memory.
The details are exquisite and grand, with nods to the Middle Ages throughout—think high shine in the form of metallic elements evoking knighthood, and tapestry-inspired prints that feel more like art than fashion.
Touches of gilded accents appear throughout, and if ever there were a collection that proves the mastery of Louis Vuitton, this is it. Many of the bags toe the line between art pieces and fashion, blending both new and old silhouettes.
There are true collector’s items, like intricate designs that feel more novel, alongside wearable options such as fresh iterations of both the LV Biker and Fall 2025’s Express bag.
Check out three of our favorite standouts from Cruise 2026, and discover the full collection online now and in boutiques worldwide.

Louis Vuitton Alma Trunk BB
The Louis Vuitton Alma is one of the most popular bags produced by the Maison, with roots dating back nearly 100 years.
Rumor has it that Gabrielle Chanel herself requested that a smaller version of the brand’s popular travel Steamer bag be made just for her. Soon enough, the commissioned style was mass-produced in 1934—with Coco’s blessing (so they say).
The Alma, which was originally called the Squire, takes its name from “Place de l’Alma,” a tree-lined square in Paris where the famed Avenue Montaigne meets the Seine River. Its Art Deco shape makes it a timeless classic, and this season, the iconic bag gets a refresh, further steeped in history with the addition of trunk-inspired details.
Louis Vuitton Multipass Bag
Named for its multipurpose appeal, the new Multipass is designed for daily carry while still offering a chic, elevated look. Said to feel evocative of the Express bag, this Monogram canvas haul-all feels classic yet modern at the same time. It’s large enough to hold your essentials and then some (it’s big enough for a book or a tablet).
Contrasting leather trims add a luxe feel, and three strap options enhance the bag’s functionality. For a more elevated look, there’s a braided leather-and-chain strap option that is perfect for shoulder wear, or you can opt for one of the leather straps for a more casual feel.
Louis Vuitton Speedy Trunk 20
Like the Alma, the Speedy bag sees an update this season, furthering its roots in travel. The Speedy is arguably one of the most classic bags in modern handbag history, inspired by the ever-changing travel industry.
It first debuted in 1930 as the Express bag and was designed to suit the evolving needs of high-society city dwellers. Introduced first in the 30cm size, the Speedy 25 was later created for Audrey Hepburn, whose petite frame called for a smaller silhouette.
The Speedy continues to evolve, and this season is no different—updated with trunk-like details that collectors will love. Reinvigorated in leather Monogram Saga signature, the addition of the hardware adds an edgy feel to the classic bag we all know and love.

What a cute Speedy! It is a bit OTT but somehow I still like it!
The Alma is too busy.
The gold chain is removable.
Whenever is see anything with a chain I just think of how cold it would be against my skin!
A Speedy trunk in 25 would be perfect for me. 20 is just too small 🙁
That was truly a gorgeous collection.
Love the multipass
OK, not sure why they made the Multipass…it’s cute but looks too similar to the Slouchy IMO.
I truly love any type of LV bag. They are beautiful!
Love the boots
Can use the chain as chain belt.
