Louis Vuitton presented its Cruise 2026 campaign last week in Paris at Palais des Papes in Avignon, France. The historical landmark is one of Europe’s largest and most important medieval Gothic buildings.
The venue’s exquisite details and art-filled corners made for the perfect destination for Cruise 2026, paying homage to Louis Vuitton’s storied connection to the arts.
The collection itself does tie back to the Palais des Papes, rooted in inspiration from the Middle Ages.
Ready-to-wear plays on medieval silhouettes. Hints of metallic shine and glimmer nod to knighthood, while intricate tapestry-inspired prints and gilded accents extend to the bags and accessories as well.
New Meets Old for Louis Vuitton Cruise 2025
Bags are a mix of House icons, new and old. The Alma appears throughout, reimagined with details evocative of the past, like intricate hand-painted iterations with metallic prints sitting atop soft leather. Elsewhere, models toted wearable new bags like the LV Biker and Fall 2025’s L’Express bag.
A distinct, wooden box bag created in collaboration with artist @thomasroger.wood subtly nods to the collection’s medieval inspirations and once again pares back to the Maison’s connection to the arts. View bags from the runway below.

Those Almas are stunning!
Definitely!! And although I’m not really a Speedy fan, I really like the little one shown in photo 8.
They really are!
Those wooden box bags look like a high school wood shop project.
Loveeee that monogram clutch
Most exciting collection in a long time!
I am very into several of these bags. Glad to see so many iterations of Alma, one of my favorite shapes since forever.
LV has outdone itself – the clothes are hideous, the shoes are hideous and the bags are hideous
You always trash Louis Vuitton on every post… so there is not much they could do to appeal to you. The world will carry on though. Taste is subjective.
The Speedys , Almas and Pettit Mals are magnificent! I cannot imagine the price point but I would love to own one…have no idea where I’d wear them. They are works of art! The wooden box things are icky.
My favorites are the three that look like hammered brass monogram. I wonder if they’re really metal, or just a metallic finish!
I have not seen a L0uis Vuitton collection I liked since Marc Jacobs was in power UNTIL today. WOW. Nicolas Ghesquière finally came to play. Good for him!
Marc Jacobs’ final few years at Louis Vuitton were abysmal, in large part due to his well-documented drug addiction. A lot of people have romanticized this period because that’s when they became aware of Louis Vuitton (MJ and BA took the brand main stream—I think to a fault in fact). But it’s really LV’s rtw and leathergood teams that have saved his last collections.
Not sure about the bags, as i just wear different brand.
However , the shoes/boots are so cool! I love all of them! Have to go and check it out! And the clothes!
This is cute
Some of these bags are definitely a work of art. The prices are going to be laughable expensive.
Any idea on when/if these bags will be available — either in store or as pre-order?
The shoes are way more impressive than the handbags.
