While much of the talk surrounding Louis Vuitton in the past months has been about the highly coveted Takashi Murakami drops, another big launch happened. The Louis Vuitton Biker Bag joined the expanding family of bags the House releases. If Artistic Director Nicolas Ghesquière has anything to say about it, it will become a big hit for the House.
Ghesquière was inspired by the iconic biker jacket when creating this bag and wanted to give the wearer a feeling of freedom and adventure. After it was first spotted on the Spring-Summer 2025 runway, an extensive campaign followed to lead to this long-awaited launch.
The design relies on a small LV Circle signature detail to denote this bag as part of the Louis Vuitton family. It’s recognizable but flies under the radar more than outwardly monogram designs.
Thanks to the removable and adjustable strap, the bag is light and easy to carry. It can also be carried over the shoulder, double-top handle or cross-body. The side straps expand to change the bag’s profile, and the overall east/west body is both slouchy and holds its shape.
On the interior, you’ll find a textile LV monogram pattern lining, which is a really lovely touch and adds a little more LV flair, along with an inside pocket.
Many aspects make a bag unique, and one of these bags, alongside the silhouette itself, is the treatment of the leather. While there are black leather options in all three sizes, there’s also a unique take on the leather finish. Louis Vuitton’s pixel-effect lambskin is utilized in both dark denim and gray colors to offer a bi-tonal finish. This brings the bag to life and makes the leather stand out against the black cowhide leather trim.

Sizes, Materials, and Pricing
The House of LV quickly expands on any new bag offering, with different sizes and materials to speak to all of its customer base. This is a wise marketing strategy because what is the ideal fit for one person may be entirely different for the next person based on their personal daily life and style.

New Charms
The charm and accessories movement continues to dominate the bag-loving world. I will always be a fan of this shift because bags are meant to be an extension of ourselves. Some days, we prefer more straightforward, usable, demure (and mindful!) bags, while other days, we want our bags to reflect exactly how we feel: personalized and fun.
Louis Vuitton has no shortage of bag charms, and I had so much fun playing with them. It even gave me an excuse to order a pizza to match my Louis Vuitton Pizza Charm (which may be my favorite charm of all time, and I can’t seem to track it down, so now I fear I will dream about it).

Givenchy called. They want their Antigona Soft back.
like another poster mentioned, it’s way nicer than the Antigone. League of its own x
Loved this style, it’s similar to my bag I bought a long time ago. I think it’s time to use it again.❤️
This is a million times better than Givenchy 🤣.
Money can’t buy you class!
relax.. it’s just a bag. it’s not that deep
elegance is learned, my friends. elegance is learned. oh yeah!
I mean I was singing the Countesses song in my head when I read that comment!
What’s with all these fashion houses pulling a Michael Kors these days? First Chanel’s with Loewe’s hammock and now LV with Givenchy’s antigona. 😴 Boring.
So ugly, so dated….
I saw it in person…not that appealing…it’s too east-west the bag shape and doesn’t feel luxurious in person. It’s similar shape to the Balenciaga moto bags (well…same designer), but balenciaga motorcycle bags are much nicer….
The Biker is sooo stunning in person. I wasn’t sold until I got my hands on mine. And yes the leather is scrumptious!!!
I was wondering if seeing (and feeling!!) this bag in person would sell me on it— some bags need to be shopped IRL to really grab me!
This leather is to die for! I love this bag and I think I might get it in the smaller size also.
Me too. I got the medium but the baby one is calling for me too LOL
I feel the same way!
Ok the pizza charm!!!
I have two- adore them. Easy to wear, lowkey and overall just a lovely little bag. Got an exotic version coming soon too!
Exotic!!! Wahoo for you – I want to see it!!
Which AI did you use to write this? 🙄
None of the 3 bags above appeal to me.
I recently got this bag in the PM size, one of the best bags (quality and design) to come out of LV in a long time…according to my opinion! Love this bag and perfect size for me!
I’m not lugging a leather bag no more. It’s too heavy even when it’s empty.
I’m confused… Do I actually like a LV handbag?
Love the charms!
Love the pizza photo that’s clever!
This bag is ugly and does not fit the LV aesthetic.
I didn’t like the bag at all until I saw it in person – I have the MM denim and it’s my daily bag now. It’s unique but still subtle and actually has a lot of attention to detail that LV has been slacking on lately.
Saw them in fresh at Harrods in London. Huge pass!!
Same…not appealing to me at all when I saw it in person and held it. It’s not cheap either….
Can someone PLEASE explain to me why NG is still the head of women’s and has a renewed contract for another dreadful 10 years? Pharrell in men’s in providing fresh, innovative and unique pieces. All of NG’s bags suck and all he focuses on is ready to wear. The new Murakami collab aka EXTREMELY anticipated wasn’t anything he did, and only attempting to recreate on Marc Jacobs’ success because he’s brought NOTHING to the brand.
Well, clearly LVMH leadership disagrees with you. If the brand wasn’t financially successful, they wouldn’t have renewed his contract.
The bags are not designed by Marc Jacobs or NG. They have an entire team dedicated to that and they just provide artistic guidance for the brand as a whole. Designers are mostly there to create the couture and RTW part of the collection. Accessories are done with other teams.
And I personally think Pharrell is a huge disappointment for the man collection (though still better than the previous designer). Nothing compares to the Kim Jones era.
I have always wanted a LV, and truly love the biker bag.
Daisy and Ted’s lakeside wedding is truly charming. Their low – key, personal approach, from the DIY decor to the meaningful vows, makes it a beautiful celebration of love.
