Louis Vuitton’s Spring 2025 collection marked the start of a new chapter at Maison Vuitton as Nicolas Ghesquière’s next decade at the iconic French luxury house begins. One thing that so clearly remains is Ghesquière’s commitment to honoring the brand’s storied heritage.

Melding interesting proportions with his signature design elements, the collection as a whole explores the idea of soft, feminine power. Simultaneously, a bit of futurism is at play throughout.

The accessories are a further extension of Ghesquière’s vision, and this season brings with it the introduction of a new House icon.

Introducing the Louis Vuitton Biker Bag

First seen on the runway and further teased in the brand’s Spring 2025 campaign, the LV Biker is both soft and structured—and it’s this distinct juxtaposition that makes the bag ooze an edgy yet chic appeal. True to its name, the Biker bag takes inspiration from classic biker jackets while exploring archival elements.

Borrowing distinct details from its roots in trunk-making, the LV Biker combines new leather techniques with tried and true craft.

The bag’s slouchy silhouette is influenced in part by the iconic silhouettes of the Speedy and Keepall bags but with a more relaxed approach. Its grab-and-go appeal is further solidified by multiple straps, which allow the bag to be carried in several different ways.

Furthermore, the LV Biker bag arrives in three sizes, an array of colors, and unique leathers. The largest size offers ample interior space, and the nano is ideal for day to night. Available for pre-launch now, the LV Biker bag starts at $3,250 for the nano, $4,300, and $4,600 for the PM and MM, respectively.

Why does it look like the soft Antigona?

jaycee

it’s 1000x sleeker and more attractive, but the same vibe

Tâm

You’re Right. It does.

Thefashionableteacher

I was thinking the exact same thing. I even looked it up to make sure I had the right bag.

lalarey

i was thinking Rebecca Minkoff morning after bag!

Nys1217

An unattractive Antigona copy

Or the Hermes Oxer

jiljenner

This was my first thought. And, though I love LV, the Oxer is one of the sexiest designs in Hermès history, so there’s no competition here.

Why does it look like a Balenciaga bag?

jaycee

Nicolas Ghesquière Designed both

louis Vuitton copies other brands like how coach copies Louis Vuitton and all the new collabs and capsule collections have really turned them into fast fashion because there’s no time to allow these new silhouettes to grow into classics to much of a throw every thing on the wall and hope it sticks. And anyone else remember when everything for the year would just be shown on the runway instead of just random things popping up like now. Like they did no clothes to really match the new bags everything looks thrown together

Anna

Ughhhh I agree I just watched the Louis Vuitton and Marc Jacob’s documentary and you can just tell how much Marc tried to create a era and a whole world with his fashion shows just like Karl lagerfield did for Chanel a whole moment they knew how to sell a dream. If you could dream it they could make it you could tell how much they loved there job and Nicolas just treats it like a check to be cashed.

Amber

Marc definitely made moments and you could tell what year it was based on the bag style in made everything so special and Nicholas makes everything the same it’s like both his tenures are just one big fashion show with nothing memorable or capturing a specific moment every show is the same it’s like he uses the same mood board for all the shows

Courtney

Omg I never thought of that I miss the old runways and how everything had outfits to match and was more of a story instead all this bleh-ness

Michelle

I totally agree Barrack

At the Louis Vuitton store in Paris, after waiting in the mid day sun to get in, I made a decision on a dream bag! I was instructed to wait at another counter and it came down in a dumbwaiter wrapped in plastic. Not at all how I wanted to purchase a designer luxury item. So I left. And never bought a LV after. For $3000 plus, I expect some one on one start to finish and coffee in the morning and maybe champagne in the afternoon. I’m your guest. Treat me like one.

jaycee

Lol unless you’re spending over 10k they wont care sadly

Nah

LOL

Kelleypuppy

I don’t personally like it but at least it is new and different. Most luxury these days is so boring.

jaycee

very edgy and stunning! I get balenciaga vibes in the best way

Kel

Ordered mine. Can’t wait!
