Making its original debut as a Men’s duffle, the Loewe Puzzle bag’s origami-like shape quickly worked its way into the hearts (and closets) of fashion lovers all over the world. Designed by Jonathan Anderson, the Puzzle bag is a true embodiment of Loewe’s craftsmanship and attention to detail. In many ways, it would foreshadow Anderson’s first decade at the House, which has been defined by his continued exploration of Loewe’s heritage.
In 2015, Anderson expanded on his original design, adding a crossbody strap and shrinking down the bag’s shape, introducing it to the women’s line-up as well. The rest, as they say, is (fashion) history. Now, ten years after the bag’s debut, Loewe is once again spot-lighting one of its most important bag designs with the release of a new iteration.
Introducing the New Loewe Featherlight Puzzle
Making its debut on the runway last year, Loewe introduces the Featherlight Puzzle bag for the Spring 2025 season, joining the already expansive Puzzle family.

True to its original design, the Featherlight Puzzle is defined by its rectangular shape and distinct geometric lines, which nod to the traditional paper folding technique of origami.
What’s different about this new addition is that it’s made from innovative and incredibly lightweight nappa lambskin, which is not only insanely smooth to the touch but also makes this version of the Puzzle bag the lightest one ever.

The new Featherlight Puzzle is just another example of Anderson’s commitment to innovative craft. The Nappa leather not only offers a smooth, tactile finish but is also completed by a slight sheen, which adds an elevated appeal to the classic Puzzle and highlights its striking details.
Furthering the Featherlight Puzzle’s newness are slimmer hardware, sleek metal feet on the bag’s base, and a leather luggage tag with a secret pocket. Arriving in neutrals and bold colors alike, the Featherlight Puzzle retails for $4,500 and launches this coming Thursday, February 20th, in stores and on Loewe.com.

Price isn’t featherlight 😂
price just makes your bank account lighter!
LOL, right?? Insane!
I feel like I’ve seen original puzzles get this slouchy with time when their wearers used the origami folds to fold it. I have a friend who used hers for travelling and overtime it developed a similar slouch….? Isn’t them just re-releasing the original design with a different tag and putting up the price?!
Gorgeous! I always wanted a puzzle, but not at that price. A bag has to be more special feeling for that $$$$. This feels like an everyday bag that may take a beating.
I struggle with slouchy bags since they’re too time consuming, and a hassle to put things in/take things out. I’m more of a structured bag girl, for that reason.
Was waiting for an article on this version of the puzzle. It’s beautiful especially the red and tan
All the luxury bags have increased their value, why Loewe not?? The classic puzzle in butter leather of sheep is a wonderful luxury bag
