One of the many things Loewe does well is its charms. They are the quintessential playful addition to any bag, to the point that I bought not one but two parrot charms from Loewe for one of my bags, which I still use to this day (and love, because they are so realistic and cute that it feels like they each have their own personality).
As the brand continues to build under its new Creative Directors, Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez, I found myself perusing one of my favorite Loewe categories: the charms.
When I think of a brand that’s able to put a smile on my face, Loewe always comes to mind. The brand is celebrating its 180th Anniversary with a special capsule collection (relying on its penchant for amusement with a Lion character on its wares), and while I keep being drawn back to the Amazona, my simpler bags are begging for a new charm. One that is unexpected, one that is super detailed, one that will inevitably lead to conversations.
And this assortment runs the gamut, including everything from a stack of newspapers to a friend for my parrot charms to a sardine container and so much more. The end result is a reminder that Loewe always delivers on details, and that I need additional funds to add far more of these items to my bag closet.
