Congratulations are (officially) in order for Dua Lipa and her boyfriend Callum Turner. The songstress, who is British Vogue’s July cover star, has finally confirmed the duo’s speculated engagement. Lipa, who turns 30 this summer, is entering a new decade, and she’s doing so with a fiancé by her side.
She spoke candidly, telling writer Gaby Wood, “Yeah, we’re engaged. It’s very exciting. This decision to grow old together, to see a life and just, I don’t know, be best friends forever – it’s a really special feeling.” The style star was spotted late last year with a ring on her finger—yes, that finger- but never publicly spoke on the engagement.
Lipa, who is currently jet-setting around the globe for her Radical Optimism Tour, began dating Turner in January of 2024, making their relationship public very early on. When you know, you know, it seems!
When she’s not on the arm of Turner, Lipa parades around town with a bevy of bags, and she’s added quite a few new ones since we last checked in with her in 2022. Without further ado, let’s take a look at the Many Bags of Dua Lipa in her relationship (and engaged!) era.
A Birkin, Bottega, Gucci and More!
We’re starting off strong with one of the year’s most anticipated new releases: the Chanel 25. Lipa was the face of the bag’s first campaign, so the choice is obvious, but it’s definitely a bag she loves. The Houdini singer has been spotted carrying it time and time again.
Earlier this year, the newly engaged couple stepped out together to celebrate Pharrell Williams’ Tiffany & Co. Titan Collection. The pair was seen outside of Paris’ Plaza Athenée looking sharp. Lipa wore Mugler and carried Chanel.
Her hair flip is giving major “This—is an Alaïa!” vibes.
I don’t know where she’s going, but wherever it is, I want to go there so I too can wear a look this fun.
SO much croc, SO little time. Dua Lipa was seen waving to paps while departing The Mark Hotel in New York with a Bottega Veneta mini bag.
Our favorite Gucci girl was spotted worldwide rocking the Horsebit Shoulder bag revival. Clearly, she knows the power of a good silver bag.
Dua Lipa also knows the power of a good statement coat. This buttery leather collarless coat is to die for, and so is her Bottega Veneta Mini Jodie.
The pair almost flew under the radar here in casual denim outfits. Almost. Lipa paired Bottega with Alaïa’s viral mesh flats for a coffee run in LA.
Dua Lipa is pals with Simon Porte-Jacquemus, so she wouldn’t miss a celebratory show (and in Capri no less). Of course, she carried a bag from the brand, and while we wouldn’t immediately pair red with baby blue, it works well on her.
Another day, another Bottega bag. This time it was the Kalimero Cha Cha.
You know she’s a bag girlie because she finally added a Birkin to her rotation, but in proper form, she made it her own with some bold hangtags.
Here, Lipa attended a pre-Met Gala gathering with a look I truthfully do not understand (I guess she does miss sometimes) and a leopard Ferragamo bag.
Back to Bottega! This time it was the short-lived Foulard iteration of the Cassette in a fun color!
Pairing a classic like the Gucci Jackie with a white button-up, perfectly fitting jeans, and ballet flats is very (uncharacteristically) quiet luxury of Lipa.
KNWLS is a south London-based brand, and given Lipa’s British roots, it’s not surprising that she supports it. Finishing her look with a backwards hat AND Gucci GG Crystal kitten heels proves how effortlessly cool she is.
