We’re so used to talking about the same luxury designers day in and day out, from Loewe and Bottega Veneta to Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Prada, and more. They’ve earned it, making the seriously great designer bags we all know and love. Our collections are full of them. We love to lust over them, talk about them, and dream of the bags by them that we’ll add to our collections next.
Still, there are so many other options out there, and you guys continue to ask us to expand on the brands we cover. We’re committed to sharing more with you all, and that’s precisely why I spend so much time listening to fashion podcasts, poring over the latest runway shows, and scrolling through social media.
While Jil Sander is not exactly a foreign name in the fashion world—actually, quite the opposite—its bags are more under-the-radar but still so luxe, and I’m returning to Jil Sander again. Its most recent release is so good that it deserves its own post, and it might be time we added Jil Sander to our regular rotation of handbag chatter.

A Look at the Jil Sander Eldorado Bag
The new Eldorado bag combines clean lines and sleek design with versatility and function. True to its description, it’s more than a bag; it’s a statement maker. Ideal for grabbing and going in style, the Eldorado is defined by its distinctive curved bottom, a unique design element that mimics the body’s curves.
Simple, but sophisticated, the bag offers a rare balance of timeless and modern, allowing for multiple ways of styling. Rooted in simplicity, the minimalist yet strong design allows the craftsmanship of the Eldorado to shine through.
Debuting in two sizes—small and medium—in classic black, deep mahogany, soft linden, and python, a small jewelry-inspired clasp acts as a stylized focal point and a functional piece. Its strap can be adjusted using the metal clip for more extended wear, though I prefer it tightened to be worn neatly under the shoulder.
Inside, there is one small slit pocket, and both sizes offer enough room for a smartphone and other daily necessities (the small would be a great day-to-night option). Discover more via Jil Sander.
