By now, we all understand what a timesuck social media can be—particularly Instagram, for me. Still, it remains both my biggest source of creative inspiration and my favorite form of procrastination. It’s where I discover new fashion brands, build mood boards, and collect ideas for the coming season, but it also has a way of consuming time I’d rather spend actually creating.
The platform’s save feature has become my digital mood board; it’s where I spend time organizing images into collections that flow together aesthetically, creating visual stories that capture whatever I’m drawn to at the moment. In many ways, Instagram has become what Tumblr once was for me: a space to curate the inspiration, creative references, and ideas constantly swirling around in my head.
Currently on My Mood Board

As the seasons change, so does my mood board, and now that we’re in the thick of July, I’ve fully embraced my mid-summer era—think colorful, playful, and cool (literally and figuratively)! I’m eyeing lightweight linens, pretty pastels, statement jewelry, and chic shoes. You’ll also find a Matthieu Blazy Chanel bag mixed in—of course—because I can’t stop thinking about them (or the beautiful turquoise hue that ruled his Spring 2026 collection).
Today, I’m sharing 10 pieces currently sitting in my never-ending cart, each inspired by my latest saved posts. And if you’re looking for even more inspiration, follow along on Instagram—everything is saved to my highlights.
