For Spring 2026, Nicolas Ghesquière was inspired by the intimacies of life at home. Ghesquière studied the raw realness of intimacy, with his creative process beginning with items worn inside the house. Still, the Maison’s heritage roots in travel are deeply intertwined in this collection, as is to be expected, and the final results meld these two areas of inspiration.
As for the bags, the runway included a mix of new and old favorites alike, with new House icons like the Side Trunk and Express bags given seasonal updates, and classic icons like the Speedy and Alma seeing the same. Referencing the collection’s theme of home as a haven of life, some bags are delicately dressed in silk, while others are given a floral spin.
With preorders just in, we’re unpacking five of the bags at the top of our Spring 2026 wishlist. Let’s take a look!
#1: Louis Vuitton Squire East/West
At first glance, the new Louis Vuitton Squire bag resembles another Vuitton classic, the Alma, which makes a lot of sense given its name. The Alma, designed by Gaston-Louis Vuitton, was originally called the Squire until it was renamed Alma, after the Parisian bridge that inspired it.
The new Squire bag, which debuted on the Spring 2026 runway, takes the curved, dome-like shape of the Alma and gives it an East/West silhouette. It’s the ideal shoulder bag alternative to the Alma, offering a small but roomy interior with a flat pocket for your phone or card holder.
Arriving in both Monogram canvas and Monogram Eden canvas, this bag is at the top of our list.
#2: Louis Vuitton Speedy Soft 30
Like the Alma, the classic Speedy bag gets a seasonal spin. The Speedy, arguably one of the most classic bags in modern handbag history, is the perfect blank canvas for reinvention.
It first debuted in 1930 as the Express bag and was designed to suit the evolving needs of high-society city dwellers. Introduced first in the 30cm size, the Speedy 25 was later created for Audrey Hepburn, whose petite frame called for a smaller silhouette.
This version of the Speedy 30 not only offers a softer, more relaxed silhouette, but it also plays on the collection’s overall themes, being crafted from textile rather than Monogram canvas, evoking the feel of printed silk. This iteration is part of the Inside LV animation capsule and features a heritage print.
#3: Louis Vuitton Speedy Bandoulière 22
Of course, no collection is complete without one that includes Louis Vuitton’s trunk-like details, and this version of the classic Speedy checks that box. Dubbed the Out Of The Trunk collection, brand classics like this Speedy B pay tribute to archival Louis Vuitton luggage.
Signature Monogram canvas contrasts with the bag’s striped upper body, which nods to vintage Louis Vuitton luggage. The addition of a padlock, trunk corners, and an S-lock closure adds an edgy feel to the classic bag we all know and love.
#4: Louis Vuitton Noé Trunk
Speaking of edge, for those who shy away from Monogram, there’s the Noé Trunk, which is as edgy as they come, perfect for the cool girl on the go. The bag takes the classic bucket-bag shape of the Noé and gives it a cool update with side drawstrings and trunk-like details like metal corners and gold studding.
#5: Louis Vuitton Neverfull MM
Needing no introduction, the Neverfull first debuted in 2007, and whether you like to admit it or not, it is one of the most popular bags in the handbag world—and for good reason. The bag, a modern take on the classic shopper tote, offers unmatched versatility with an array of sizes to suit every lifestyle.
It’s not only purely functional, but it offers the timeless appeal of classic LV Monogram—or a hint of fashion with one of the Maison’s many special editions. The Neverfull has always been a great jumping-off point for reinvigoration, and this season, it’s updated in stunning Monogram Eden canvas, defined by its bold floral pattern. Collectors are sure to go crazy for this one.

The painting on th Neverfull MM is lovely but these are a hard pass.
The Neverfull MM design looks like a ripoff of Gucci from a few years ago. It’s pretty, but where’s the inventiveness?
Gosh LV has a unique talent of making expensive yet unattractive bags!
Nope.
Ugh.
The Noé Trunk is stunning! I love Epi leather. 🧡
Unfortunately bored and disinterested in LV for years now. Hoping it’ll change with new collections – nope.
The Neverful is pretty. The Speedy 22 is way too busy. The Speedy Soft is cool, but I can’t do the textile for $4000. Leather? Maybe. Fabric? Hard pass.
My thoughts exactly. $4000+ for a fabric bag? Please.
agree with the others the painting is nice on the Neverfull however it does look a bit ‘Gucciesque’ all in all I prefer my vintage monogram Alma where I’ve had the leather parts repainted in baby pink
They looked like display pieces.
I love the Neverful. It is stunning in person as the store had one for a client. After seeing it I have ordered one for me. It sure is eye catching
Boring
