In the last few years, Louis Vuitton has blessed us with some of the best revivals from the early aughts. From the return of Monogram Denim at the start of 2024 to last year’s massive Murakami comeback, it has been a busy couple of years for collectors (and the Vuitton PR team!).
Kicking off the year with major launches makes the post-holiday blues a little sweeter, but getting ready for the summer season with a brand new bag is just as nice, and if you’re an avid Louis Vuitton lover, you know what March means. Yup, that’s right, today we’re here to get a look at Louis Vuitton’s summer capsule collection, which officially drops tomorrow, March 20th.
The Nautical Collection Sets the Tone for Summer 2026
Louis Vuitton’s Monogram is one of the luxury world’s most recognizable motifs, inspiring the Maison’s many creative directors over the years to breathe new life into the storied logo print.
Still, its reinvention would not be possible without the work of Marc Jacobs, who revolutionized the brand during his 16-year tenure, working with renowned artists like Stephen Sprouse, Takashi Murakami, and Richard Prince to reinvigorate LV Monogram.
This season, Jacobs’ reign at the Maison is celebrated again with the Spring/Summer 2026 capsule, the Nautical Collection, which melds archival elements with modernity, playing off the easy summer vibes that come along with the season.
Denim Rendez-Vous Revives Monogram Denim
A subset of the Nautical Collection, Denim Rendez-Vous sees the return of Louis Vuitton’s iconic Monogram Denim print, a pattern created by Marc Jacobs in the early 2000s. This season, Louis Vuitton expands upon the denim collection we’ve seen in recent years, bringing back not only some of the most-loved styles of the early aughts, but rare colors like bright fuchsia and olive green.
The collection sees the return of standout pieces like the Sunset Bag, Nano Speedy, and the Keepall, while newer House icons like the Coussin Hobo, All In BB, and the CarryAll Cargo add a hint of newness.
Most exciting, the Louis Vuitton Baggy returns this year in both blue and fuchsia Monogram Denim. A favorite freshly picked from the early aughts, this limited-edition version features a distinct charmed zipper pull.
Discover the range of denim pieces and more from the Louis Vuitton Nautical Collection now, launching in boutiques tomorrow, March 20, 2026.
Classic Icons and Cult Favorites Return

I am not a fan of denim bags and never have been, so will not comment on the bags themselves other than to say the prices seem quite high, above the normal high for premium designers. Nearly $5k for a denim Coussin? No…just no. (the leather Coussin is “only”4k in euros, according to the LV France website, which makes it about $4600)
Plus they look cheap! I do like denim bags and they get better with age. The original denim bags from years ago are great and much more interesting styles. These are crazy expensive and style and the colors are like Easter eggs.
$2700 for a denim nano Speedy?!
Talk about the hardest of passes.
All I could think about while reading this is how amazing and transformative Marc Jacobs was to LV. True meaning of icon.
Agree. The bags he designed are still the it-bags we crave. But the prices are ridiculous. I have many of his bags from those years and I paid a fraction of the prices we see for the relaunches.
I wish they’d bring back more of the original styles for these capsule collections. I am not a fan of the current style offerings, but I would buy every color of the Neo Speedy style if they brought it back from this collection.
I use to hate the denim line when it first came out back in the day, but I think these are really cute. Yes, prices are high, but when you live in a world where Zara shoes are $200+, the prices for these make more sense. I think the Pochette Accessoires Cargo is adorable.
