Louis Vuitton Introduces LV Remix

New year, new revivals...

LV Remix Collection 4

In the 2020s, it seems like the buzziest words in the handbag world are “archival revivals,” “vintage-inspired,” “blast from the past,” and really any combination of the aforementioned. The fashion world has become enamored by all things retro.

Simply put, collectively, we’re obsessed with nostalgia.

This year, we’re starting off strong with a new collection of revivals, and it will give you all of the nostalgic feels you crave. Introducing: LV Remix, a return of the Maison’s most-loved Monogram Styles, debuting just in time for 2024.

Retro Icons Return

Louis Vuitton’s Monogram is one of the luxury world’s most recognizable motifs. It has inspired the Maison’s many creative directors over the years, and it’s also been a blank canvas for artists like Stephen Sprouse and Urs Fischer to reinvent.

With LV Remix, Monogram is celebrated once again, with the brand bringing back two of the buzziest Monogram collections in pop culture: Denim and Vernis. Showcased on a range of leather goods, these beloved fan favorites have become staples of Louis Vuitton collectors, and both iterations return on an array of covetable silhouettes.

LV Remix Collection 7

Much-wanted It-bags from the past return, like the Croissant, Papillon, Venice and more. Past silhouettes sit alongside new shapes, all showcased in campaign images starring friends of the House like Phoebe Dynevor, Shay Mitchell, Nana Ouyang, and more.

Notably, micro versions of Louis Vuitton bags like the Noé and Speedy are offered in Monogram Denim canvas, while the Micro Alma and Speedy delight in bright shades of Vernis. This comeback has been one of the most anticipated, building upon the incredible history of Louis Vuitton while feeling equally relevant to today’s fashion.

LOVE these! But can’t justify the price tag for denim 🙁

Ridiculous pricing! I still own a couple/few of these styles from their original releases, and their original prices were less than half of what these are. What’s the difference? Let’s see: returns double every 9-10 years at 8% interest. Rule of 72 apparently has NO bearing on how they price these bags. And remember, vernis is pretty until it starts yellowing and showing color transfer, especially if you wear dark clothing. No thanks. Not again….

they are trying to make the brand less affordable so it becomes more exclusive i guess the class they cannot achieve through design, they achieve it with pricing

Ugly ad. Poor editing from LV

Finally this remix has been released!! Too late louis vuitton compared to prada releasing the 2005 reeditions as well as the dior saddle bag. I tried to sell my first lv wilshire in vernis but it did not sell so lucky me il continue using my vintage ones. Reminiscing dreaming about buying these bags when i was in high school.

The prices are absolutely insane. It’s as if they set up a dart board to choose their pricing because there’s no rhyme or reason for it.

I have pieces from both the Denim and the Vernis collection from 2005 I believe it was. Hardly used but they are coming out this time around!
Love the new colors.
