While fashion month has come to its inevitable close and we’ve already shared our favorite bags from the Fall 2019 shows we have one more show to take a look at. Naturally, the bags that walked the runway at the Hermès fashion show have us swooning. This collection is classically Hermès, featuring sleek and mostly structured minimalistic designs. Notable new designs include a mini belt bag version of the classic Constance bag, which also reappeared on the runway. Two new day bags were shown as well, including a structured flap bag, which you’ll notice has hardware that is taken from the Verrou bag. The second new style, which first appeared for Pre-Fall 2019, is slightly smaller and features a zip-around closure and a top handle. This bag is called the Simone bag, and it is said to have been inspired by old schoolbooks.

I wonder if the Simone bag was named after French political icon Simone Veil, who passed away last year. I need to investigate. 🙂
I have to say, this very well might be the first (and only) belt bag I ever get. I surprise myself saying that, but well I kinda like it!

I love the verrou bag. That Black and white Constance is amazing too along with the belt bag.
How do these annoying ads always get posted? Are there filters in place that can prevent it?
I love the Double Sens style bags with the cross body straps. I currently use a Double Sens as my daily bag and love it, but I really wish it was a cross body too. Well viola! Hermes has come through as if they read my mind! I guess with the strap it will no longer be Double…LOL. All these bags are gorgeous and so well made. I would imagine all the structured bags to be between $8K and $9K with the Constance a bit higher.
I saw this collection on their website & love all the begs. The Simone bag is my favorite. I loved it when I saw it on the pre fall 2019 collection. Beautiful bag. Love the style of it and leather and the colors. I might add this bag in my collection.

I really love the monochromatic look everyone is going for! It’s sharp, roomy, efficient, & elegant. The bags themselves are not the focal point, just part of a whole look. All the colors & textures are so rich & sensuous. Yea! Fall will be here sooner than you think!???
i loved the twist on the double sense its brilliant…….. how ever i had a major disappointment ,because the moment i saw the constance walk out i thought Hermes had finally done what i wanted a CONSTANCE with a short handle so that the constance can be worn like a kelly …… could be soft or maybe even structured but i dream of short handled, constance !
still it was a fantastic show and if all goes right i do plan on buying a few RTW items…..
What are the folded bags called in #6, #9, #21, etc.? The folded over design makes me think that my personal items could drop out leaving a trail behind me. Also, I have a general dislike of belt bags, but these are sophisticated and stunning!
