I have long proclaimed my love for the Gucci Horsebit 1955 Bag. It’s all the things I love in a bag: vintage archival elements that suggest this bag was a hand-me-down from my mom’s closet, iconic House codes denoting this as a Gucci bag, and the sleek, structured shape, which looks modern and elevated.
It’s not my biggest or most spacious bag, but it is a bag that I turn to and love repeatedly. I am lucky to own three versions; one that feels more fall/winter, another feels more spring/summer, and the third that offers that evening elevated crystal touch that I obsess over every time I take her out.
The Horsebit 1955 continues to be a mainstay design for the House and is a personal favorite of mine.
While I’ve previously shared a review of my Horsebit 1955, I always like to check back on this bag to see new iterations and who else has been spotted carrying it.

The House of Gucci has a massive following, from its core audience, like you and me, to countless celebrities who have been friends of the House and ambassadors.
I always like to see who has been spotted with the bags I love and review some of the newer colors, sizes, and updates to a mainstay line from Gucci that I am incredibly fond of.

Although I like the bag…not one person pictured paid for that bag. With that being said I will admire from a far.
I agree ..found an original tan fabric and leather gg horsebit at my local thrift for $7
I can almost guarantee Kirsten Dunst is the only person who paid. She’s not really one to sell herself.
Why do I find myself loving those hot pink and green ones??!!!
Don’t pay these absurd prices.
There was also product placement in Ticket to Paradise, with Julia Roberts character sporting the bag
I went to a Gucci store and they mentioned this exact movie as a justification for it’s popularity. The movie was meh but i do love the bag
It is a great bag!
love the brown on brown
