When summer just starts to hit its groove, fall’s new arrivals begin to drop, and summer’s most-wanted goods go on sale. That’s just the way it works, don’t shoot the messenger! As we get closer and closer to September, like us, many of you have shifted your shopping from summer to fall, and one of the biggest things we watch out for is color trends. While all things pink are definitely on our radar, we’re jumping back to the Fall 2022 runways to see what colors designers were focused on.

Additionally, we left it to the experts and researched what color trend analysts had to say about the upcoming season. Everything we spotted on the runways from our favorite designers is in line with what the experts feel is on the horizon. Following a period of immense crisis, collectively, the world has refocused. People are restarting their lives with positive attitudes while also allowing themselves to indulge in small luxuries, which many gave up during the pandemic. Fall 2022’s color trends report from WGSN stated how possessions now have a deeper meaning, and colors reflect an authentic mood rooted in positivity and grounded in nature, which can be seen in the 3 color trends we’re highlighting today.
Gushing for (Olive) Green
The green trend continues, but this time, we’re moving away from grass green and even the pastel pistachios of spring onto a deep green hue somewhere between Jade and Olive. These tones are meant to possess a healing spirit rooted in protective energy and peace.
Go for the Marigold
Warm shades of marigold have begun to pop up within fall’s new arrivals, and it is a beautiful hue that works on many different skin tones. Signifying warmth and a bright, energetic feel, the bags we’re seeing are a mix of deep yellow gold and mustard tones. While pale yellow has been the yellow of choice over the last few seasons, that’s all about to change this fall.
Blue Crush
Bright, blue hues will be big this fall, and we are here for this statement-making hue. This fall, it’s all about tones that make you feel good but grounded, and really anything goes.
