Gone are the days when finding out your baby’s gender was an intimate reveal in the doctor’s office. In the modern digital age, the bigger the reveal, the better.
From pink or blue cakes and giant balloons that shower guests with pink or blue confetti to over-the-top flyover planes that drop the corresponding paint color or wild-fire-inducing gender reveals gone wrong, if you can dream it, a gender reveal can do it.
Gender reveals have truly gotten out of control, but the internet’s latest viral gender reveal is one we can get behind.
It’s a Boy, It’s a Girl, It’s a…Lady Dior!
A staggering 10.3 million viewed Rachel Santana’s luxury gender reveal, which chronicles a visit to Dior’s Champs-Élysées location and ends with the opening of a baby blue Lady Dior bag, indicating that Santana’s baby is a boy.
Santana came prepared with the baby’s gender results, handed over her credit card to the sales associate, and got the most luxurious little surprise. While it’s safe to say that many have deemed gender reveals on the outs list for 2025, we are declaring luxury handbag reveals so in (and safety-hazard-free) for 2025.
It’s a cute idea, if one can afford it. 😉
Agreed! I always wanted a mini Kelly in pink or blue when we were finding out our kiddos’ genders. Guess Vlad didn’t think it was a great idea, because I never got one 😉
Reinforcing gender stereotypes from birth… not a fan.
How much does it cost to make that bag? Less than €80???? 😂
I don’t know that one person’s TikTok a whole trend predicts (or warrants a full article). The whole thing is questionable!
This is actually a really cute idea. I don’t think it needs to be a lady dior necessarily but a fun idea for a bag lover, could be a coach bag, it’s the memory and the experience that matters.
