Bottega Veneta’s a Collection of Objects Reveals Its Spring 2021 Collection

Better late than never...

When Daniel Lee burst onto the scene at Bottega Veneta he took the fashion world by storm. Over 2 years later he continues to make waves, helping Bottega Veneta to see continued success despite a year filled with so much uncertainty. And in a move that is completely unsurprising, Lee chose to forgo the digital show format adapted by many other luxury brands this year for something much more interesting. While other brands are releasing looks at their pre-fall 2021 collections, Bottega Veneta is finally giving us a look at its intimate spring 2021 show which secretly took place in October, according to Vogue, as well as a glimpse at what goes on behind the scenes.

The presentation includes various objects that all tell a story of this latest collection, which is a continuation of resort 2021. The 3-part book series includes a backstage look at what it takes to design a collection from the process of design to Lee’s sources of inspiration, complete with a front and backstage look at the physical presentation that took place earlier this fall. A recording of the soundtrack from the event finished off the collection of objects, all meant to give a unique, intimate look at Lee’s creative process.

As for the collection itself, Lee’s use of bold, beautiful colors continues from the RTW right down to the accessories. And speaking of accessories, this collection was created with continuity in mind, and the bags are meant to be paired and matched season after season. The Triangle Bag continues to be a push this season, appearing in a crochet-knit finish in stunning pastels of pink, purple, blue and neon yellow.
