I found myself in the camp of people who love the Prada Inside Bag, though many of you still weren’t sure this bag would take. Love it or leave it, the Inside Bag continues to be part of each Prada collection including Resort 2016.
Prada Resort 2016 just hit stores and we have a look at many of the bags from the collection. There are new renditions of the Inside Bag, featuring python and prints of arrows, rabbits, lips and eyes. Along with it, you’ll find plenty of bags with large grommets and chunky chains paired with the prints mentioned above. This collection is one of the boldest for the brand in a while, each being more of a statement piece than the next. There is a black python Inside Bag if you prefer a more simplistic design (which by the way I think is stunning).

Wow these are not the Prada I’ve come to know and love. These are hideous. So bad. They look like the type of bag that you would have found on clearance in the 1990’s at a teen-centric mall store.
Disaster. A definite pass.
GOD these are all butt ugly.
I’ve not seen the Inside Bag in person yet. In photos it looks very boxy and old last-ish.
Will keep an open mind until I see for myself!

I personally detest snakeskin, so I’m gonna have to pass. The patterns skew a bit juvenile as well.
I passed by a large Prada store today and did some window shopping. It was interesting that with all their displays, not one Inside Bag was shown. I guess it’s being kept…inside. Several of the grommet bags were on display and while they’re ok, I think they look better in real life than in photos, they’re not a temptation in any way. This collection is a miss. I did see several women walking around the area with Prada bags — almost all were some version of the Saffiano totes or black Vitello Daino/Cervo bags with gold trim. IOW, the bags that women were buying and carrying were not the bags that Prada is pushing.

Yikes…who pays $$ for bags with rabbits and arrows on them?? The only bag here that I would carry is the all black Python and even then it would have to be a gift. I am not a fan of the inside bag…
I like the all black python bag, the others are a bit too busy for me…
The print is so not.
Love the designs but with the cost of these purses I would probably stick to the black so it lasts me a lifetime!
