While traditionally, there is no true “summer” season in fashion, each year, Louis Vuitton releases a little something extra for its often insatiable, brand-loyal fans. That little something special is separate from the brand’s more formal spring runway collection. It’s meant to entice shoppers who are about to embark on trips or other warm-weather activities. Typically these summer collections are a special collaboration or a capsule collection, often a fresh take on Louis Vuitton Monogram. This year fans have been lucky enough to have been blessed by not one but two new capsules. The first was released during the traditional spring season, though these weren’t runway bags part of the brand’s spring collection. Now, on the heels of that capsule, the Spring in the City collection, the brand has just released a stunning new mini-collection that certainly shines.
Introducing the Louis Vuitton Summer Stardust Collection
The Louis Vuitton Summer Stardust collection was imagined with an effortless wardrobe meant for long sunny days in mind, and the RTW pieces are definitely pool and beach-inspired. Lightweight fabrics and fun, carefree motifs are seen throughout alongside new Louis Vuitton swimwear and poolside accessories like a terry robe top and Monogram bucket hat. A playful vision of summertime dressing is explored. Other pieces from the collection showcase a distinctive scattered star print inspired by nights on the beach underneath the summer season’s sky. Dreamy nights that feel carefree, like anything and everything is possible. A selection of some of the House’s most-loved bags compliments the RTW, and if you love updated takes on Louis Vuitton Monogram, this collection is sure to wow.
A Shiny Take on Classic Monogram
The bags of the Summer Stardust capsule bring to life a shimmering effect on a classic: embossed Monogram Empreinte leather. This luminous finish (called sprayed-grained cowhide leather) is applied to a range of some of the brand’s most popular designs like the Neverfull, Speedy, Onthego, and Multi Pochette Accessoires. A nice range of colors is offered throughout, too, so whether you prefer a more muted metallic, like beige, or something more colorful and fun with a bit of shine, there’s a bag in this collection for you. Shades of pastel pink, aqua green, and muted lilac are given the eye-catching Stardust finish, giving classic House Monogram an ultra-feminine feel. A standout is the appearance of the iconic Noé, which is shrunken down and given the metallic stardust effect. The Speedy B appears in its smallest form, the 20, complete with a detachable chain-and-leather strap. Sure to be a hit and already sold on in some silhouettes online; prices range from $1,830 for the Trio Pouch to $3,500 for the Onthego PM.
I haven’t bought an LV in years because I feel like the market is just saturated with them. But I am feeling these fun bags!

These are gorgeous! I wish I had room in my closet for one more bag! 🌷👛🌷
This reminds me of a Kmart or Walmart campaign gone wrong – atrocious
Definitely, is just tacky
The leather is really beautiful irl. This is really a nice capsule.
Beautiful colorways, so soft and chic and more understated than the older monogram pieces. Take my money.
This capsule is beautiful!
