Around this time each year, we get a little something special from Louis Vuitton. Though there is no traditional summer season in fashion, brands will often release capsule collections separate from their formal runway collections. This works especially well for Louis Vuitton, whose hordes of fans are constantly on the lookout for something fresh.
Typically, these collections are fun takes on the brand’s most classic bags, making them coveted items season after season, with LV devotees clamoring to add pieces from each capsule to their collection. This year, the brand introduces a new collection, which celebrates those beautiful sunny days in the city.
Louis Vuitton Spring in the City Collecion

Aptly named the Spring in the City collection, the collection features a range of pieces meant to feel casual yet sophisticated with a feminine flair. RTW feels light and airy, in neutral tones complimenting the accessories. As for the bags, the pieces presented are mostly reinterpreted takes on Louis Vuitton icons like the Neverfull, Onthego, and the Speedy. New details were imagined for this collection, said to feel like a breath of fresh air, like beautiful color-blocked Empreinte and intricate details like hangtags and braided handles.
Though the focus here is on neutral colors, there’s a bolder side to the collection too, featuring color-blocked Empreinte in black, white, and hot pink. Icons like the Neverfull and the Speedy B20 showcase this brighter colorway, but if you’re looking for something new, there’s also the Bagatelle BB, which is a mini hobo that is meant to be worn over the shoulder, neatly tucked under the arm. A very of-the-moment shape, the bag is meant to be worn from day until night, coined a ‘midday-to-midnight bag.’ It’s finished with a hangtag from the collection and a removable cross-body strap. Retail price is $2,910. Discover the entire collection now via Louis Vuitton.

It’s the same iterations in different colours and big logos. LV is starting to resemble michael kors in the past.
Meh!! LV used to be my go to fashion house. I am falling OUT of love very quickly. Such a shame.
I like the color palette and for once, this summer collection is in Empreinte leather and not a simple silk screen on monogram canvas. It’s an upgrade!
The bagatelle comes with an additional longer strap and can be worn crossbody. It’s also got zipper problems.
I’m not normally a big LV person, but this collection is super cute. I love the Bagatelle.
Loving the collection and it’s not complete! they will be adding a couple other bags soon so waiting for those… so far got a couple RTW pieces and a new bag!
They are fairly good but not having that “wow” factor. Out of all items shown here the one that attracts my interest most is that plaid shirt.
Love the shape of the bagatelle just not a fan of the color choices.
