This is Emma’s first time in one of Louis Vuitton’s ad campaigns
When we spotted actress Emma Stone at Louis Vuitton's Paris Fashion Week show earlier this month, I was curious about why she was there—she's not a regular fashion week attendee, despite being notoriously well-dressed on red carpets, and I couldn't remember seeing her wear the brand in the past, except for a vintage Keepall at the airport a couple times. Well, now we all know why she was there: she's the latest star of Vuitton's Art of Travel ad campaign series, and she's been announced as the brand's new "muse."
The ads were shot by Craig McDean in the California desert, and they also star the Louis Vuitton Capucines Bag in several different iterations, including stunning red crocodile. It's interesting that the Capucines Bag continues to be such a focus for the brand, since it's neither a classic piece with decades of history or a product of current creative director Nicolas Ghesquiere, but its high profile seems like a testament to its ongoing appeal. Check out all the ads below.
