The Best Celebrity Bag Looks of Paris Fashion Week Fall 2018

Louis Vuitton, Dior and Valentino all brought out impressive star power to their Paris shows

Another Paris Fashion Week has drawn to a close, and I feel justified in saying it was kind of an odd one. Céline didn’t show because of its designer transition, and unusually cold and rainy weather put an occasional damper on some of the fun outside the shows. Celebrities still came out in droves to see the collections and be seen by photographers, though, so we dutifully sorted through the photos to find the best of what they carried to the main events. Check out our findings below.

Adele Exarchopolous

Adele is a French actress and a longtime Louis Vuitton fave, even before Nicolas Ghesquiere took over the brand. She was one of the many celebs Louis Vuitton outfitted with its new Louis Vuitton Petite Boite Chapeau Bag, meant to look like a mini hat box. Lady Amelia Windsor

Meanwhile, over at Valentino, Lady Amelia Windsor chose a Valentino Rockstud Spikes Bag. Shop the Valentino Rockstud Spikes Bag via Nordstrom ($2,845)

Dior also had an impressive celebrity turnout, including Angelababy carrying this sparkly little Dior Dioraddict Flap Bag. Shop Dior Bags via Vestiaire Collective

The blogger contingent wasn’t as strong in Paris as it was in New York, but Brazilian Camila Coelho attended Louis Vuitton carrying a Louis Vuitton Duffel Bag. Shop the Louis Vuitton Duffel Bag via Louis Vuitton ($2,820)

Carla Bruni

There were plenty of models of all generations on hand, though, like Carla Bruni Sarkozy with this little Chanel drawstring bag. Shop Chanel Bags via Vestiaire Collective

Caro Daur

Caro Daur was one of the only people we spotted twice. First, at the Dior show, carrying a Dior Lady Dior Bag. Shop Dior Bags via Vestiaire Collective

The French shows always bring out a couple of legends. This season, Catherine Deneuve attended Louis Vuitton as one of the army of celebs carrying a Louis Vuitton Petite Boite Chapeau Bag. Shop the Louis Vuitton Petite Boite Chapeau Bag via Louis Vuitton ($4,250)

Chloë Grace Moretz

Chloë Grace Moretz also came through at Louis Vuitton, and she carried another popular bag of the evening: the Louis Vuitton Petite Malle Bag. Shop the Louis Vuitton Petite Malle Bag via Louis Vuitton ($5,750)

Hopefully come next year’s awards season, someone will bring out one of these Valentino Bebop Ring Clutches, seen here on Russian street style mainstay Elena Perminova. Shop the Valentino Bebop Ring Clutch via Neiman Marcus ($3,045)

Emma Stone

Emma Stone usually isn’t the fashion show type, but it looks as though Louis Vuitton flew her straight to Paris from her role presenting at the Oscars. She was carrying the Petite Malle Shoulder Bag, a style that isn’t yet out.

Fan Bingbing

Fan Bingbing, on the other hand, toted an exotic version of the Louis Vuitton Petite Boite Chapeau. Shop the Louis Vuitton Petite Boite Chapeau Bag via Louis Vuitton ($4,250)

Farida Khelfa

Americans might not be familiar with Farida Khelfa, who carried a Louis Vuitton Speedy Doctor Bag to the brand’s show, but she has a long, storied history in European fashion, starting with her days living with Christian Louboutin’s parents while working in a Paris nightclub. Shop the Louis Vuitton Speedy Doctor Bag via Louis Vuitton ($3,700)

Irene Kim

Chanel usually wins for the biggest crowd of celebrities at its shows, but its group was more modestly sized this season. Irene Kim was among them, carrying a small Chanel Gabrielle Bag. Shop Chanel Bags via Vestiaire Collective

Jeanne Damas

It wouldn’t be Paris Fashion Week without some French It Girls. The current queen of them, Jeanne Damas, carried the Dior Mini Dior Oblique Tote to the brand’s show. Shop Dior Bags via Vestiaire Collective

Rachel Brosnahan

Rachel Brosnahan is the breakout star of the Amazon show The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel (if you haven’t seen it, you really should), and I was happy to see her pop up at the Miu Miu show carrying one of the brand’s bags. Shop Miu Miu Bags via Nordstrom

Rowan Blanchard

Meanwhile, at Chloé, Rowan Blanchard reminded us all that it was unseasonably frigid in Paris this week. She carried a Chloé Drew Bijou Bag. Shop the Chloé Drew Bijou Bag via Net-a-Porter ($1,950)

Ruth Negga

Actress Ruth Negga carried a Louis Vuitton bag whose name we don’t yet know; the design hasn’t been released to the public yet.
