In a world where the uncertainty of tomorrow plagues us more so than ever, Tory Burch is bringing back the joy in one of the most mundane parts of our day—getting dressed.
For Spring 2027, which was presented yesterday in New York, Burch was inspired by the idea of opulent femininity, but through a practical lens. At the core of Tory Burch is the woman she designs for, and pragmatism—this season, not without color, texture, and embellishment—will always be integral to the brand.
A Study in Texture and Color
Ready-to-wear oozes the sentiment that getting dressed, while an essential part of one’s day, should also be fun and completely individual. An overarching view of the collection proves just this, with a bold palette of butter yellow and bold red, plus various shades of purple and blue.
Flowing silks gave way to embroidered knits, statement dresses, and staple outerwear. Opulence was a theme throughout, in the form of both eye-catching embellishments, like woven metallics, and tufted textures alike.
The New Shapes to Know
As for the bags, two new silhouettes took center stage this season. The first, a smart, chic shopper, joins the Lee Radziwill family for Spring. Arriving in a range of hues, from soft purple and grass green to deep brown and logo print, its ultra-thin straps and elongated shape take inspiration from a paper shopping bag.
A cool new shoulder bag was also a big focus this season, carried by models throughout in a range of shades. The soft silhouette is defined by two outer kiss-lock pouch pockets on either end of the bag. The new Tory Burch Bunny Knot also made an appearance on the runway, as did handwoven shoppers which are a continuation of Tory Burch’s partnership with Indian artisans.
