Just in time for the Winter Solstice on December 21st, Gucci presents its latest capsule collection, Gucci Après-Ski, an alluring selection of items imagined for winter getaways on the mountain and beyond. Meant to feel sporty but refined, the collection explores two aesthetics — those spotted on the slopes as well as those worn off of them.
Encompassing a wide variety of pieces, the ready-to-wear is clearly inspired by functional skiwear and mountainside staples. There are coordinating sets, cozy knits, puffer jackets, and more. Gucci’s iconic GG monogram print is explored in a chic way, as well as the adidas x Gucci motif, which pairs well with the collection’s sporty aesthetic.

As for the bags, , Alessandro Michele’s House staples are reimagined in seasonal iterations that compliment the RTW. Signature handbags like the Gucci Diana, Gucci Horsebit 1955, and Gucci GG Marmont bags are showcased with wool trim, novelty kits, and textured shearling. The adidas x Gucci logo is also presented on a selection of bags like the Diana, which is detailed with a Gucci Web strap.
The capsule collection is captured in new campaign images by Mark Peckmezian that play on a classic alpine adventure. Gucci Après-Ski is available now in Gucci boutiques and on gucci.com. A series of special pop-ups are also presented across the pond in Courmayeur, Cortina, Courchevel, Verbier, and Kitzbühel. Discover the campaign images below and shop now via Gucci.
UGLY
For me, Gucci has become too predictable and boring. There’s no interesting bags and/or RTW.
I live in NYC and I never see people wearing the logos like this. is this happening in places like Miami and Las Vegas where people are showier? I don’t understand who the actual customer is who is buying these things.
I guess people who have no sense of style and think that logos are “chic.” Aka pathetic wannabes.
Not for me but what a fun campaign!
Was in Gstaad last week and didn’t notice women with Gucci bags … did see Hermes, Louis Vuitton (not Speedys or Neverfulls though), some Prada (Gstaad has a big Prada store) and Brunello Cucinelli …
