A new season of Emily in Paris is officially here. While I anxiously wait for my holiday R&R to commence, allowing me time to catch up on Emily’s adventures, I can tell you that this season will most definitely bring the bag heat (as always).
If you were unsure, the news I come with today will solidify it—and I fear this may be my favorite season for bags yet!
Emily in Paris Returns — With Major Bag Energy
Last season brought Emily and the rest of the crew to Rome, where (spoiler alert) she falls in love after breaking up with Gabriel for good (for now)—and Paris. Season 5 will feature Emily in Italy, as she follows her job (and heart) to Rome. The new season and a new city are celebrated with a Fendi capsule collection that has us all running to see what Emily carries on screen.
Debuting in tandem with the release of season 5 yesterday, the limited-edition capsule collection brings together the world of Fendi with Emily’s world, taking the duo’s relationship to the next level. Emily has carried Fendi in seasons past, so it’s only fitting that Ms. Cooper gets her own Baguette bag as she embarks on picturesque Roman adventures.

The Bags Stealing the Spotlight: Baguette & Peekaboo
The Art Deco-inspired capsule collection will feature both the Fendi Baguette and the Fendi Peekaboo dressed in bright, bold colors. Color-blocked, vibrant hues of either brown and pink or dove and mint green merge to create a unique print featuring the iconic FF logo and geometric dots.
Finished with a special tag, the limited-edition bags are available in small quantities on Fendi.com and in boutiques worldwide. Discover now via Fendi.

Don’t get me wrong, I love Fendi, I really do, but this capsule is as bad as this season’e fashion on Emily in Paris. I’m watching the show now and the writing this season is pretty bad but the fashion is positively dire.
In a way this capsule and this season are a perfect match. They deserve each other.
Sylvie looks great! Love her YSL accessories! Emily’s wardrobe is terrible.
I wanted to love this mini collection as Emily in Paris is just flat out silly and fun, but yikes the tapestry in the pics is already frayed at the edges on some of the blocks, in their marketing pics. Can’t imagine those $$ for something that seems like it might unravel. Leather would have been potentially fabulous!
The early- to mid-60s vibe of the prints are cute but the pricing is, as expected, absurd. The fashion houses are laughing their asses off at us all. So I’m consigning myself to consignment for the time being–earlier eras are better quality in many cases anyway.
The fashion is dire! IMO Camille had the best style, Silvie is next best. I have only seen a couple episodes of this recent season but it seems the clothing is tackier than ever! Still hoping to get to see a couple chic fits from Emily in this season. (They are few and far between but once in a while they let Emily look good).
I love the Fendi Baguette,I have one from the first release back in the day but this capsule is not as appealing as previously released versions. It does however capture the theme of this seasons fashion. I will definitely not be purchasing this version.
I do not like this Fendi collection. It’s as cringey as this Emily in Paris season. I can’t believe how badly Fendi was presented in the episode. Horrible. Fendi is so fun and special sad to see this misstep.
