Loving Lately: The Fendi Kan I F Bag

F is for Fendi, and this Fendi is Fab

Back in August, we asked your thoughts on Fendi‘s new logo. When it comes to my thoughts, I’ve got major logo love. I’ve always loved the way Fendi offers classic bags and shapes with a twist, and the new ‘F’ logo hardware is the perfect example of Fendi reinventing the wheel. The Fendi Kan I has been on my radar for a bit now, and currently I am obsessing over Fendi’s newest iteration, the Kan I F Bag. I love the whole line of Kan I F Bags, but I’ve particularly got my eye on this mixed media beauty.

This bag stole my heart for multiple reasons. For starters, I love the overall look of it. It’s a great, structured shape, and the leather and plush logo velvet combo is really eye-catching. I especially fell for the look of the printed velvet peeping out from behind the ‘F’ logo hardware. This bag is just so different, unique and fun. If you’ve come down with the same logo love that I have, then this just might be your next bag buy.

The bag itself has shiny silver hardware, with more F logos also embedded in the handle attachments. I adore the fact that one of the Fs on the top handle strap is gold. I often get annoyed when I have on contrasting jewelry—until I remind myself that it’s ok to mix—so the fact that this has both gold and silver on it makes me love it even more.

This bag is super structured and holds its shape well no matter how much you stuff it. That being said, the inside of the bag isn’t really all that big; I would say it has medium capacity. I carried around my usuals just fine, though—my sunglasses in their case, a small cosmetics pouch, my iPhone 6S and my work phone, which is also an iPhone 6s, a small zip-around wallet, a mini notebook and a pen. I could have fit a little bit more, but I’m so used to carrying around smaller bags these days, that I’ve really streamlined what it is that I carry.

Though the size isn’t all that big, I loved the versatility of being able to carry the bag two ways: over the shoulder with the longer strap, or carried by hand with the top handle strap. Both straps are completely removable too, which I really liked. One of the downsides to this bag is that it’s a little bit hard to get in and out of, especially on the go. You really have to make sure the magnetic buckle is closed and secure. The bag has one interior slit pocket, and the overall dimensions are 7.3″H x 9.8″W x 4.3″D. Overall, this is a bag I would definitely love to add to my collection. Snag one of your own in black via Fendi for $3,400 or shop the full Kan I Collection via Fendi.
