Dior Introduces its Dior Gold Summer Capsule Collection

Iconic House silhouettes are given a touch of gold this summer

At Dior, the switch from popular artistic director Raf Simons to Maria Grazia Chiuri, was a stark one. Things changed when Chiuri was brought on, bringing with her a version of womanhood and romanticism that was much different than her predecessor’s ultra-feminine and futuristic take on fashion. Since her appointment at Dior, Chiuri has introduced a slew of beautiful handbag hits, including new releases like the Book Tote, and the Dior Caro as well as the hit revival of the classic Dior Saddle Bag.

In fact, in the years since Chiuri joined the team at Dior, the brand itself, but more specifically its accessories, has been more coveted than ever before. When it comes to the brand’s bags, Chiuri has been responsible for producing handbag hit after handbag hit. Now, for Summer 2021 the designer has reinterpreted some of Dior’s biggest It-Bags as part of the Dior Gold capsule collection which just launched on Dior.com and in the brands boutiques nationwide.

House icons such as the Lady Dior, Dior Caro, Dior Bobby and Book Tote are given a makeover with stunning, delicate touches of gold. The most eye-catching pieces feature finely embroidered metallic threads in shades of gold, pastel pink and baby blue. The embroidered pieces are an ode to the craftsmanship and expertise of Dior’s Ateliers. Meant to magnify the House’s most iconic silhouettes, gold showcases and embodies Dior’s boldness and creativity. A larger selection of accessories, shoes and ethereal RTW finishes off this dreamlike collection, and it is the ultimate reflection of the effortless and timeless Dior style we all crave. Discover the collection now via Dior.
