In the last 5 years or so, few trends have been as big and widespread as color. From Bottega green and lavender to red and burgundy, certain years (and seasons) will go down in fashion history, easily identifiable by the ubiquity of certain colors.
While red and burgundy ruled the Winter 2023 and Spring 2024 runways, this past season (Fall 2024), it was all, and I mean ALL, about olive! Olive green is one of those colors that isn’t a neutral but can function as such while still providing a bit of edge and visual appeal to any outfit.
On the runway, many designers showcased olive accessories and full-on monochrome looks, and we are obsessed. While we wait for the spring and summer months, when lighter fabrics and colors will be the outfits of choice, now is the time to buy into olive. It can be worn as a complement to the whites and beiges of the warm weather months and transitioned into fall for head-to-toe green.

Ooh that Loewe Paseo! I am going to have a hard time picking just one bag when I am in Madrid in May.
Love the color itself but I’ve personally found it to be difficult to style/too limiting.
It’s a great color IF you have the right skin tone to wear it (i.e., yellow undertones). If you don’t look good in olive clothing, skip this trend 🙂
Gucci on top first one is my fave
YES! I love green, and there’s not enough of this color out there!
All are very beautiful. I have a small Bottega crossbody in olive. If I opt for another it will be something less expensive. The RL catches my eye. Of course I would LOVE to own that Prada! I am at a point of not wanting to spend thousands on a handbag.
