It was a great week for newness on the celeb bag circuit from Taylor Swift, who has given Jonathan Anderson’s Dior with her stamp of approval, to Sarah Pidgeon in Chanel, which hasn’t even dropped yet—oh to be a star! Swifties will delight in Tay’s bold, yellow bag, though the rest of our style stars this week opted for black, but we’re not mad at it!
More below!
Taylor Swift
Swifties everywhere will be running to snag the STAUD dress, which retails for an accessible $325, that Taylor was seen wearing while heading out of San Vincente Bungalow’s, New York’s most exclusive new membership club. A stark contrast to the her $9,500 Anderson-era Lady Dior in-hand. Not to mention, an SVB membership will set you back about $4,000 a year, with a rumored initiation fee of $15K.
Sarah Pidgeon
Sarah Pidgeon was spotted in New York with THAT leopard Maxi Flap from Matthieu Blazy’s Chanel Métiers d’art 2026 collection. Who wore it best? Pigeon or Harry Styles?
Naomi Watts
Meanwhile, Pidgeon’s castmate Naomi Watts was spotted in New York making the press rounds wearing head-to-toe Celine. The iconic actress paired a sleek suit with an incredibly chic Triomphe Frame Bag.
Kate Hudson
A red-hot Kate Hudson was spotted waving to fans in Lincoln Center on a chilly April day. The beloved actress and 2026 Oscar nominee was recently named one of Time Magazine’s 100 Most Influential People of the year. The star was all smiles in a head-turning red trench paired with Jil Sander’s new Linea Bag.

Using “we are obsessed” in every other article is exhausting.
This and the teeth grinding “stars, they’re just like us”!!!!!
Taylor Swift really needs a stylist, everything she’s wearing clashes. 🤷♀️
Definitely. Who mixes light blue with neon yellow and burgundy red?
Taylor does, its her choice!
I wish these articles going forward, would tell us which celebrities are “gifted” their handbags. Please. 🙏🏻
I look at it as a way of seeing bags in real life rather than taking it as a form of endorsement. Particularly proportion and how it hangs.
Unfortunately, it’s hard to tell which bags were gifted (or strategically placed by PR) or self-bought. While there’s a lot of gifting/loaning happening with celebrities, their various stylists also have arrangements with brands.
That is very true Vlad! I would say a good percentage of the bags are gifted, or out on loan.
