Chanel collections of late often have some sort of zeitgeist-y theme (like feminism or mass consumer consumption, for example), but just when you expect a designer like Karl Lagerfeld to zig, he zags. For Fall 2016, Chanel’s bags seem to be mostly inspired by the brand itself and the creation of its clothing.
That doesn’t mean there’s not any variation, though. A couple bags feature stylized, emoji-like prints or baubles, and there are plenty of straightforwardly pretty leather bags with no theme to speak of. I find myself getting somewhat bored with Chanel. There are a few pieces in this collection that are gorgeous, but it really didn’t ‘wow’ me.
Chanel is so boring and overpriced to me. How can the denim flap cost more than some of the leather bags.
slide #35 looks like an MK. the cats and peace signs have to go!! so classless and tacky imo.
I like the camera bag in slide 10 and the tuxedo flap in slide 19.
The frame bag in slide 29 remind me of my chip clips that I bought from the Dollar Tree.

I personally prefer the classic Chanel bags. The quality of the modern bags are seam to became worth.
I would prefer a bag from collection 2005-2012 to one modern piece. My advise look for a pre-owned one in great condition at the resale shop online http://www.vintage-united.com and find a great affordable vintage Chanel bag instead.
