Every June for the past 12 years, Chanel has partnered with the Tribeca Film Festival to host a star-studded event celebrating its Through Her Lens program, which champions self-identifying women and non-binary filmmakers. The duo took over NYC’s Greenwich Hotel, hosting a sun-soaked luncheon in the hotel’s courtyard.
The program supports women in film through funding and mentorship, and in the 12 years since its inception, it has supported 100 emerging filmmakers and more than 50 short films. Chanel can throw a party like nobody’s business, and this year’s event brought out all the stars (and Chanel bags, of course).
