If you remember Valentino’s Spring 2016 collection, the brand sent bags with African detailing down the runway. The bags were intricate and ornate, and for Fall 2016 the accessories follow suit, but this time with a much different theme in mind.
Designers Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pierpaolo Piccioli looked to nature motifs for fall’s bags. You’ll also notice new bag shapes from the brand, like saddle bags and small crossbody bags, as well as bags that are heavily embellished with metals, fringe and embroidery. Also prominent this season are embellished bag straps, which are a developing trend all over the industry. While most of these straps are sold separately, some of the brand’s bags already feature a coordinating guitar-style bag strap with these new fall bags.
As summer comes to a close, many of Valentino’s fall styles from the runway and beyond are currently available for purchase or pre-order. Check out our favorites below.

All the black handbags with studs are great. I’m so torn though. if I’m going to spend that much money I would rather get a Chanel. Perhaps take the second hand route.
