Fall is one of the most widely beloved seasons, and if you’re anything like me when August hits, your mind shifts to fall fashion. All of this comes despite the fact that the weather outside feels like fall will never come. One thing (among many) that I love about fall is how many lush textures the season brings into my wardrobe. There are super-soft knits and cozy furs (faux for me, typically) that you just can’t wear in the summer months.
Adding a shearling bag to my wardrobe piqued my interest last year, and this fall, my desire has only intensified as more offerings are popping up almost daily. Based on the wide range of shearling bags and accessories that are already available, it looks like I’m not the only one who wants to get my hands on a fluffy handbag. Shearling is available in abundance at top-tier price points, but we also found some at contemporary price points too.

I just discovered a really cute brand while I was down the shore this week. They’re called Primecut that has super funky shearling bags and are made in portland! Please check them out.
I wish I didn’t love shearling bags so much, I have no idea why I do. No doubt they look great at a ski resort and literally nowhere else. I don’t care for any of these tho. The white-ish Chanel flap has a cool strap but that’s about it.
I love Marni but that bag looks terrible in the pic. The Chanel is very cute.
The only place I ever see them is at ski resorts in the Alps during ski season and even then, sightings are rare.
